Dogtopia of Milford 40 Quirk Road, Milford, CT 06460

"I wanted to take a minute to recognize Dogtopia in Milford again. My dog has been going since they opened in November/December 2020. We live in the area but recently had a job relocation to Stamford so I figured being a large city, they would have several daycares which they do. My dog tried out 2 other *non Dogtopia* places and they do not compare at all to Dogtopia in Milford. One did not have cameras which I was not comfortable with, so I can't say how my dog was treated and if he had what he needed (water/outdoor space). The other did have cameras which allowed me to witness my dog getting sprayed with a water bottle because he was barking at another dog during play and also had NO access to drinking water. I couldn't believe it. The play area was tiny also, there was no space to run around. I could see my dog jumping up by the play area entrance gate and barking- clearly he wanted someone to get him out of there, so I picked him up and we won't go back. I will do whatever I can to keep my dog at Dogtopia in Milford, they truly are very caring toward all the dogs and have a great facility. All the dogs there are very lucky because some other places are abusive and have no compassion, but will make it sound like they're the best on the planet. I promise anyone considering Dogtopia in Milford will not have to think twice about sending their dog there!"

"My dog Reed loves going to Dogtopia! He pulls me to the door and whines in the lobby until he gets to see his friends. When we first started bringing him there we noticed they didn’t open the door to the outside area in his room, so the dogs wouldn’t get to go out and play (due to one dog being a turf eater). I do feel like I wasted a few days of my daycare package due to this, but after speaking to the manager Owen, it was corrected. They moved him into a room that better suited his energy and play style and now Reed couldn’t be happier, a room that also keeps the door to the outside open nearly 24/7. The employees are very nice there and the facility is very clean. The Dogtopia app isn’t the best, it freezes a lot. When it does work, I love to check on him and see him play. The pricing is very competitive and they offer memberships and packages that other locations don’t offer. Overall, I do recommend!"

"My dog Annie just got back from her Christmas vacation at Dogtopia. We were able to watch her on their doggy cam and wouldn't you know, she was monopolizing the care worker by getting her hips scratched, just like I do at home, and then jumping on her and licking her to death, again, just like at home. She came home clean, with nails trimmed and happy to be back home. She even had more mature bark, and was especially well behaved when she got home. Go figure!"

"Everyone at Dogtopia in Milford deserves 5 stars! They are all so friendly and take great care of all of the dogs there. The facility is very clean and kept that way throughout the day. It’s great to be able to check in during the day through the webcams. They have fun activities and crafts and treats for the dogs every week, definitely worth the cost! Most importantly, our dog loves going there and is always so happy to see his favorite canine coaches and puppy friends!"

"Amazing staff and they are always attentive. My Bentley bear will literally go crazy when we turn onto the street. He loves it there. Makes me happy to know he has a place with great people looking after him."
