"Great place to walk dogs, especially as they allow you to have the dogs off leash on the trails, as long as you are far away frpm the parking lot. Beautiful any season and far enough from houses. I don't know anything about the Splash Pad part."
"Always a relaxing though a bit of a challenge walk through the woods experience for us. Please watch out for exposed roots you might stumble into and break an ankle. There are portable toilets near the entrance, and for a lot of dog lovers this is where they go and let the dogs run free and swim. Always a pleasant experience for us to for 45 minute walks around the lake/beach/river outlet."
"The trail is pretty easy to navigate, despite inconsistent trail markers. There's also a lot of tree cover, so it doesn't get too hot. Dogs everywhere, it was great! Lots of great spots to sit and have lunch with a beautiful view. Not buggy and not a lot of brush on the trail. Overall a great time!"
