"I started taking my Australian Shepherd puppy to Happy Homes after hearing other’s talk about the great experiences they have had with their daycare program. He’s more energetic than you’d think a dog could even be, and somehow, he always ends up coming home absolutely exhausted after a long day of play! We notice such a positive change in his behavior afterwards, and I’m extremely grateful that we have somewhere to help get his energy out on the days we’re busier than normal. The staff are very understanding, accommodating, and professional. Kristen, the owner, takes the time to set up a meet and greet to evaluate your dog’s comfort level and behavior, and I really appreciate her dedication to keeping all the dogs safe and happy. I fully recommend their daycare program, and the prices can’t be beat!"
"We’ve been boarding our dog at Happy Homes in Woodbridge for a couple of years. While the exterior of the facilities is a bit gritty, the building is located adjacent to a road repair company, the canine experience is top notch. Kristen brings extensive medical experience as well as an uncanny ability to connect with dogs. Happy Homes also has a friendly and committed staff that have gotten to know my dog well. We’ve tried boarding at several places over the years and Happy Homes is the only place where my dog is actually pulling the leash to get in. Communications are easy via email and they have an auto bill system. All you need is email to reserve a time, bring your dog with food and bed, and you’re done. If you’re looking for an independent, local doggie day care or boarder, I highly recommend Happy Homes in Woodbridge, CT."
"I had to make "last minute" boarding plans at Happy Homes for my dog Ivy. Kristen offered a trial playtime so that my dog would be familiar with a "new to her" boarding facility. Great idea! I was impressed with this daycare and boarding kennel. Reasonably priced for boarding considering all day play is included. Happy Homes staff were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Happy Homes"
"Happy Homes Dog Daycare and.. Post Donna Dockendorff Posting publicly© I have been more than pleased with Happy Homes Daycare and Training. Lincoln is a lovable but active Cockapoo. When I got him at eight weeks of age I planned on training him myself. I soon found out that I needed professional help. Happy Homes Puppy School was the answer. Kristen has taught Lincoln how to walk on a leash without pulling, come when called, settle on a mat and stay when told to. Kristen is always willing to answer questions. It is evident that Kristen is knowledgeable and truly loves dogs. Lincoln has one more week of puppy school left and will continue to go there a few days a week for daycare. He loves it there and can't wait to walk in the door at Happy Homes"
"I have been using Happy Homes Daycare for about a year now. My dog is always very excited to go in and she has been hesitant at places like this before. She comes home looking happy and tired and I can tell she got a good amount of exercise and socialization in throughout the day. The staff are extremely friendly and learn about your dog and show excitement when they see them. The owner Kristen is very easy to get in touch with and responsive when you reach out or have questions. I would highly recommend Happy Homes for anyone looking for a daycare facility for their dog."
