"I have had my dog Honey for 7 years, and Destri is the first dog walker I have hired for her. We moved from NYC to Tarrytown earlier this year, and since my fiancé and I both work in the city, it was inevitable that we would need to hire someone to give Honey a midday break. I feel so lucky that we found Destri. I am very anxious about who handles Honey, because she is a rescue with her own set of anxieties and fear of strangers. Destri came over twice to meet and "hang out" with Honey before she started her walking services, to make sure that Honey would be comfortable with her. I could tell by the way she first introduced herself to Honey that she has is knowledgeable about dog body language and behavior. She s been walking Honey 4x/week for about 4 months now, and we couldn't be happier. It gives me peace of mind when I'm at work to know that she is getting checked on midday, and getting a break from her solitude. Destri sends me picutres of Honey when they're out on their walks, which always brightens my day. Also, I have been home a few times recently when Destri has come by, and can see how Honey adores and trusts her. They have their routine (a cookie, a walk, a kong), and it really makes me so happy to know that Honey has a friend to visit her during the day."
