"Had the best experience here! Highly highly recommend for anyone in the area. The food was delicious—even our picky four year old loved everything. If you’re deciding between anything on the menu, the poached eggs were perfection!"
"A lovely relaxing atmosphere with fantastic food. I ordered the Taters omelet (potato’s and chorizo) and it was gigantic. The serving size made it worth its price. The potatos on the side where a bit bland but not bad. I tired my friend corso beef hash and it was delicious. The meal took a while to come out but it was worth the wait given the quality and freshness of the food."
"My partner and I were so looking forward to eating here for a very long time. We finally decided to take a 5 day trip to Rhode Island and this was our first stop. Unfortunately we were both extremely disappointed. I want to start with the good. The Indian fry bread and the desserts were phenomenal. The fry bread was crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle and savory. The strawberry shortcake that had the fry bread was extremely yummy. It really was the saving grace of this meal. The service - we sent the restaurant a facebook message two weeks prior to arrival asking about wheelchair accessibilty and if we needed reservations and they replied to one message then read and ignored the other. It was slightly annoying but we figured not everyone lives on social media. Our waitress was nice. Though since the establishment is not accessible we had to sit outside and only one table is where a wheelchair can easily get. It was more or less in the parking lot and out of the way. We did not get to see our server often because if this. It also took almost TWO AND A HALF HOURS for us to have our meal. We seriously waited more than 45 minutes for our appetizer alone. The food - A huge letdown. Especially for the price. The steak I ordered was one of their weekly specials. While it looked impressice it was so unevenly and overly cooked (note the extremely black charred spots). I ordered it medium and it was very well done with some spots being burnt to a crisp. I have never seen a steak of that size and caliber taken so far beyond well done that the plate under it was completely dry. Normally I would say something about this but there was no way that steak was sent out without everyone in the kitchen knowing that it had been on the grill far too long. Also, after a two hour wait and seeing the waitress maybe twice, I just wanted to leave. The Three Sisters Rice was unseasoned and bland, the "fresh seasonal vegetables" were canned carrots. Their special mac and cheese was OKAY but so dry. The roast chicken and Cole slaw were good, but not outstanding (not that you expect roasted chicken or Cole slaw to be mind blowing). All in all. I was very dissatisfied. This was an almost $200 meal (including tip) and it feels like there was a massive lack of passion in the kitchen. I was truly hoping this would be a place I would come back to every visit to RI."
"Great little shop with a unique selection of entrées and foods that would be hard to get otherwise. It is made fresh and did take 20-30 minutes to recieve the food. We got the greens salad and the vegan bowl and they were great. The rice in the vegan bowl was smoked which was actually delicious. One downside was that while waiting for our food and also while eating my family was trying to have a conversation but had trouble hearing eachother over the loud TV in the customer seating area that some of the staff were sitting and watching. That did take a little away from the experience and made it a little less enjoyable. Overall the food was great quality and is worth a stop if you are in Charlestown and want something unique - although I would suggest getting takeout."
