"Went in today for a gel mani and gel pedi and I was so appalled at the unprofessional service. Eva tried to upsell me on another type of pedicure which I didn’t want. Upon telling her no she immediately shut down and just began doing the bare minimum. I wasn’t going to waste my time and downgraded to no polish to which she gave me attitude. The manicure, which I downgraded to regular polish, wasn’t any better. She was clearly trying to rush me out and talking about me to her coworkers in Vietnamese. Little did she know I had google translate on my phone and read the nasty things she was saying. She also cut me on two nails with no apology. I will never come back."
"I have been going to YR Blossom for some sort of nail service whenever time permits for about a year now. I always stick to gel pedi and powder dip mani or gel mani with square & rounded edge shape. For the most part they have always done a decent job. The ambiance of their store and the quality of their work is why I have always returned. I always thought their customer service could be better but never paid attention to it because the quality of my nails always came out good. Just yesterday (11/11/23), I went in for a powered dip manicure appointment. Annie did my nails and the results are tolerable but I would never ask for her again. I found her to be very messy when dipping my nails but still gave her the benefit of the doubt. Once I asked her to straighten out the shape she started to get an attitude and frustratedly “fixed” it. She was VERY rough with my cuticles, would tug and clip it instead of clipping it at the root. The result of her work is a mess. I currently have hang nails, my nails are so bulky, the edges are dry and crusty, the shape is terrible. It looks like I have melted marshmallows on my fingers. I am not happy with the service received today. ****(11/14/23)Edited to add: Fiona, the owner (I believe), contacted me. She wants to make it right. Unfortunately I am out of town at the moment, but I look forward to giving them the opportunity to regain my business."
"I used to go here a few years ago and always had a beautiful dip powder manicure. I’ve recently moved back and was excited to try them out again! My manicure was less than ideal - came out bulky and just not what I wanted. In addition to the bulkiness, I have several cuts on my cuticles - both from filing and from cuticle cutting. One cut (seen in photo) got infected and I needed to go to the dr for antibiotics. I probably will not return. I will try the Harrison location, though."
"I used to be a regular here and gave this place a lot of chances up until today. I went to go get my powder set removed and left with raw and brittle nails. The nail technician, Coco, did not let my nails soak enough in the acetone and kept utilizing the drill to the highest speed which caused a burning sensation on my nails. It was an incredibly uncomfortable experience. I left with my cuticles bleeding and swollen, still more hang nails, and powder residue still left on my natural nails. I also suffer from eczema and she kept cutting my eczema which also caused more bleeding. The experience was rushed so the next person can be seated. The management also was rude when I asked for cash back through card and placed their attitude and frustrations on me as I did not have cash for tip. Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. They used to be excellent, but over time they have lost their touch. I will be taking my money else where."
"Went here last week with my family to get a pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. She literally did my pedicure in 20 minutes. Did not scrape my feet, just rubbed it once or twice. My mother’s nail polish is worse, she had to go back in for them to fix the nail polish that was rolling off of her nail. She also had the audacity to ask me for a tip! I DO NOT recommend this place. It looks beautiful but they do not work to the BEST of their ability."
