Reviews of Stone Zoo
"Went last night to see the Stone Zoo Lights. I enjoyed it aswell as my toddler n partner. Beautiful lights and got to see a few of the animals even tho they where sleeping. It was a bit chilly but if you go accordingly to weather you should be fine. They have music also a area to buy hot chocolate and snacks also a few games for kids. Bathrooms where clean and warm. Looking foward to going in spring and summer. I also paid 7 dollars per adult showing by ebt card."
"Awesome place close to home. I bring my kid there all the time. Really wish they had chimpanzees. They do have a lot of cool animals, too. Careful with bees around this time, a lot of yellow jackets don't let you wat in peace as well."
"I love this zoo! (I recommend packing a lunch or coming after lunch since the lunch spot is small and limited) Sure it’s technically smaller than Franklin park but that doesn’t make it a subpar zoo! If this zoo is closer than Franklin park I definitely recommend. It has such a diverse range of animals and despite a lot of traveling there’s animals I’ve never seen before at other zoos! Example the reindeer, wolves and bison! Very unique range of animals! Love this zoo."
"Stone zoo exhibits many animals ranging from jaguar, snow leopards to whispering wolves to flamingos and parrots. The zoo isn't very big but that makes it perfect for taking your toddlers to. You can tour the whole zoo with your toddler in an hour and half easily. They have a play area for kids and lot of sitting places here and there are a big plus."
