"Great experience. This place is great! Very friendly and attentive to your nails. Had a great experience with regular manicure & pedicure. Will be back!"
"I recently got a shellac manicure as well, and it's beautiful! So clean. I have very short nails and they made them look amazing! Recommend this place!!"
"If you need a place after work to go to in CT. Go here. The owner Nina did my nails after work and she every accommodating. She was open until 8:30pm. I like my nails very much!! Very sweet person."
"I had a lot of hope for this place because of the relatively good reviews overall but I honestly can’t recommend this to anyone. This was my first time getting my nails done, let alone acrylics and I should have just turned around and left. I called ahead to see if I needed to make an appointment, and she said to just walk in, and that the service would cost $50. Nina was getting her nails done as I walked in and was barefoot as she did my nails. It took an hour and a half, and it felt really rough the whole time. I wanted a rounded almond shape with a black French tip, no design, and Nina wanted to add designs anyway. She tried but I ended up asking her to remove it because it didn’t really look good. The nail desk thing was very disorganized and she had to dig around for the tools required. The uv light to activate the acrylic or gel she was using kept turning off seemed like it needed to be replaced. Overall the place seemed to be in need of a really deep clean and an organizational treatment. They also had some pretty funky 80s music in a language that I couldn’t place playing relatively loudly the whole time so it made it hard to communicate with Nina. At the end of the service she put really yellow cuticle oil on my nails and asked me how I was going to pay, I gave her my card and she charged it $60 and immediately went into the back. Never saw her again. From this visit I learned that I can leave a place if it seems sketchy and that if your gut is telling you to go you probably should. Cleanliness- 2/10 Tools didn’t look clean and I can only imagine how many people they were used on Nails- 2/10 Shape was kind of off and the design looked smudged and undefined Atmosphere- 2/10 The area didn’t seem clean and the air smelled like nails, the music was very present I just went to get them fixed because I’m afraid of getting an infection. That said, she seemed like a nice person, she just isn’t the worlds best nail artist. Good luck to all who try Nina Nails."
"Second time going here…first time Louie did them and they were great. Second time Nina did my nail and they are messy, she kept adding different things saying the pic I showed was too simple. They look absolutely nothing like the pic they are messy and the design is sloppy. Will not be returning unless I can guarantee Nina will not be doing my nails. I attached a pic of what I asked for and what I got."
