"Tried for the first time on Monday for lunch and it was packed. Unfortunately they were not honoring the lunch menu this day I suppose because it was a holiday(new years day), it wasn’t explained why even though we asked when we made the reservation and were told they have it everyday. We did choose to stay as this is cash only and we weren’t sure we brought enough at first since we came for the lunch menu. I ordered the Bronx chicken parm with rigatoni, I thought it was very good. I sampled the pork chop martini and it tasted very good. The file of sole was good as well. The service was very good and attentive and friendly. My only issue would be people are on top of you , we felt the lady at the table next to us was a 5th member of our group , literally was between me and my wife. Also, again, this is cash only so make sure you plan ahead , although I did notice an atm inside."
"Finally Finally got to try Robkes in Northport. I’ve been wanting to try them for a very long time and I recently had a day off so went there for the lunch special. The place was packed out on a random Monday afternoon at 1230pm. There was a really great vibe and you could feel the positive energy in there. We started with the fried calamari. Now, I don’t want to be over-dramatic but I’ve thought about this and I really think they just may have the best fried calamari I’ve ever had. It was so light and tender and crispy. It was really fantastic. Then we shared their famous Mac & cheese. Normally I would never order Mac & cheese at a restaurant but all the reviews on Long Island Food & Drink and here on Google made me do it. And WOW. This chef. What a rebel. You should have seen what he did with the pasta. Real gutsy move LOL! He had at least 5 different shapes of pasta on that Mac & Cheese. And it was all a perfect Al dente (I cannot stand soft pasta). It was delicious. And the sirloin steak was seasoned so well with the best flavor. I cannot wait to go back and try so many more of their dishes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"I’m not really into Italian food but my father loves this place and he is a regular here, their food is quite good! I highly recommend the baked clams! Beware of the noise level if you have sensitive hearing though because it is very loud."
