"I recently revisited Cafe Social with my family for brunch, and once again, the cozy spot in Norwalk did not disappoint with its delightful menu. Our brunch experience was overall enjoyable, featuring delicious food and perfectly crafted drinks. However, a minor hiccup occurred when I ordered a Tuscano Panini with a side of potato salad, which didn't quite hit the mark. Politely requesting to substitute the Potato salad with french fries, I was surprised to find a $7 charge for the fries on the bill. When I questioned the server, she explained that while the potato salad wasn't charged, the fries were added later and thus incurred an extra cost. From a customer service standpoint, clear communication about additional charges would have been appreciated. Despite the server offering a half-price adjustment, it left a slightly bitter taste. While the incident didn't break the bank, it highlighted a lapse in communication and billing transparency. In the end, Cafe Social earns four stars from me, mainly due to the scrumptious food and cozy atmosphere. My hope is that they take this as an opportunity to refine their approach, ensuring customers are informed about any additional costs in a more upfront manner. I still highly recommend the place, and I believe this minor issue can be a learning experience for the establishment."

"Not impressed with the quality of the food or the atmosphere. Our waitress Sabrina was rushing us to place the order and we were asked to order anything else because the kitchen was closing at 3:00PM, but they were still taking walk-in’s and food orders at 3:30PM. I guess they serve and open the kitchen to certain people."

"We had two delicious Eggs Benny dishes and also the buttermilk pancakes. Specialty coffees were also good. Funky decor and attentive friendly service. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you."

"The food was amazing, the location is great, and the parking is east. Drinks were fantastic. The only drawback was service. We waited so long for a waiter to help us, then never came back to check on us. And to pay, I had to go upfront and ask for the bill and pay there because getting a server to come over after the initial order was not happening. But with some small changes, this place is a gem."

"Good food - enjoyed a Cinnabon latte and a lox benedict. Service was a little inconsistent - I explicitly asked for “no dill” and my plate arrived covered in it - but easily enough removed by hand. Outdoor seating can be awkward at these folding tables that they use where the support legs are wobbly and makes for a uneasy dining experience."
