"Good food but expensive (to be expected) for some fairly basic offerings. Overall a good place to get beach food if you don't feel like bringing a picnic to the beach. The kids love it for ice cream, chicken fingers, etc. Everything is hot, tastes fresh and is served pretty fast for being a smaller place."
"Sublime restaurant directly on Compo Beach, Westport, CT. Great to have a beach picnic vibe, amazing views and cute seating options. It's all here"
"Oh wow this should be 0 stars. Lines like crazy no order or organization. $6 each for one prepackaged ice cream bar so for a family of 4 if you feel like suffering through the long lines- and disorder, to buy a prepackaged ice cream bar (a box of these in supermarkets cost $6), then I guess? Save your aggravation and get good ice cream on Main St or at Saugatuck sweets after your beach trip. Or bring a giant cooler with tons of ice and drag it here to not be price gouged. I do not recommend."
"Management is about as sharp as a marble. Kitchen and servers were understaffed, on a typical summer weekend lunch rush. They were set up for failure as we waiting nearly an hour to get our food order and after we got our food, it was the wrong order. Barring a zombie apocalypse, there is not a chance I would order food here again. Ice cream looked tasty."
"This may still be "just getting started" hiccups but we experienced a pretty overwhelmed staff: 45-60 minute delays for simple food, and their smoothies took multiple attempts to get to a consistency that they would serve to us. We got a green smoothie (which we would not order again: weird flavor profile and odd texture) and a tropical one (which was fine for a beach smoothie). Overall, I think they've got to work out the operational and food delivery issues, and then hopefully the weird taste is simply a part of that. Currently falls well well short of all standards that Joey's had left behind."
