"The first time I got a sandwich here the produce tasted rotten and I couldn't finish it. Decided to go again simply because it's in walking distance of where I work and this time when I ordered a hot sandwich it was cold with that same aftertaste of rot. I'm not sure if the two guys working here actually know how to use any of the kitchen equipment."

"I am so excited to finally have a Jimmy John’s local, been hearing about them for years and thought they were gonna revolutionize the sandwich business. I was so wrong!! The sandwich had a pathetic amount of mid quality meats I ordered the largest gigantic sub it had 3 ultra thin slices of meat 1 slice of cheese. They serve it on a bread stick so it looks larger then what it is. Honestly this was more vegetables than anything else. Save your money and time go anywhere else."

"There were only 2 slices of meat on our sandwiches and a lot of lettuce. It was disappointing to say the least. This was our 1st and last time going there. Good thing I asked for the senior discount so it cost $26.00 instead of $29.00."

"I was so excited to finally get a JJ’s here I have never tried but been seeing the ads for years and would have thought this would be a sandwich lovers Mecca. So far from the truth first off the claim to be insanely fast and insanely fresh. Lol that’s a joke with six employees to make my one sandwich, very little meat and sliced so thin you can actually see thru it. The bread was fresh of a good quality but the meats weren’t even as good a a store brand cold cut. Comes on a French loaf so as you can imagine very skinny bread to make the very little amount of meat appear to be something. Just so disappointing maybe out in the Midwest they consider this fresh and good but in the east coast when you order a sandwich it’s got substance. We won’t even talk about the insane price. Just so disappointed they actually make JM’s and Quiznos seem like better alternatives. Update: 8/11/23 I went again today I figured it’s been a year and I keep seeing all these great reviews. Well I have to say I am still greatly disappointed. I got an Italian sandwich, first time in 40+ years no pepperoni in an Italian. They still use French baguettes so very small amount of meat at all. I had a giant so 16 inches with the same amount of meat that comes on a hard roll at every other sandwich place. It was such a joke to see it. The quality is really poor not sure where they get the meats but honestly these guys should go to any deli and see what quality meats and real sandwich looks like. If this is what the Midwest thinks a grinder is it’s really sad. The local franchisee should be ashamed it’s like he’s never been to a deli. I’d rather a sandwich from stop and shop at least the meats would be boars head and quality. This is so disappointing."
