"Date of Stay: Saturday, October 28th, 2023 room 203 The room was huge and spacious. It has two queen beds and a sofa bed. There are light-giving blinds and blackout blinds, a closet cabinet, an ironing board, an iron, a Keurig, and a mini fridge. The beds are very comfortable, with an excellent fluffy mattress, and plenty of pillows that are full & fluffy. The beds at HiEX always offer a great night's sleep -comfy and cozy. The bathroom is large and very clean. The shower head is very high, which is great for taller guests. This HiEx is pet friendly, we had a service dog, and they never even blinked at it. The excellent service lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and efficient. She had our check-in prepared so that it was quick and easy. When we realized we needed extra towels, she quickly got some for us. Breakfast at HIEx hotels is always a joy. I never miss a HiEx breakfast. Their buffet has scrambled eggs, two kinds of mini omelettes, and boiled eggs. There is bacon and turkey sausage, various bread options and muffins, waffles, yogurts, various cereals and oatmeals, and fruit. The kids will love the cinnamon buns, which are a favourite item. The breakfast area is maintained at a high level of cleanliness, replenishment, and impeccable appearance. The hotel has a good gym that is open 24 hours - with a treadmill, bike, elyptical, and some weights. There is also a pool. The hotel has plenty of free onsite self-parking available, it is close to several amenities, including a great restaurant we ate at, "Rosys Tomorrow" a short drive down the road. Holiday Inn Express is always a go-to preferred hotel option for us because of its consistency and reliability with comfort, service, quality, security, and breakfast. Unfortunately, hotel prices these days are a bit high, and while the cost of this hotel was a bit pricey, we chose it because if we have to pay these kinds of prices, we at least want comfort and quality that we can count on and thats HiEx. If i could, I would always stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels on every one of our roguetrips."

"There were some other options in the area, but i am glad i paid a little extra for this room. The Holliday Inn Express & Suites was a great experience. Flawless check-in. Immaculate room, large HDTV, wifi, and breakfast in the morning. The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and premium dove handsoap and body wash. No little vials here, bottles. The shower was hot and powerful. The ice machine was just a few steps from my room. Parking was plentiful and easy to access. A great choice on my travels through CT."
