"Came solely for the cheese wheel Cacio e Pepe. Ordered both the white and red sangria as well. Atmosphere was nice, by the water at sunset. Unfortunately that is all the restaurant really had going for it. Food - The cheese wheel cacio e Pepe was underwhelming at best. The pasta already came with sauce and was placed in the cheese wheel. More for looks than it’s intended purpose. There were 2 servers, they didn’t say a word throughout the whole process so it was very awkward silence for a good 5-10 mins. In addition we had to wait and watch them scrape off the old used cheese layer off before they began mixing our pasta. That could have been done in the kitchen. The pasta was extremely salty but that might have been attributed to the type of cheese or the liquor used. Drink- Tried the white and red sangria and unfortunately you can easily tell that they are watered down. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business I can understand the need but if the customer is able to easily tell the. You are cutting it too much. Service - Service was good. The young waiter appeared to be relatively new but was attentive and brought our drinks and food in a timely manner. Overall I thought the cheese wheel was fine. Slightly underwhelming but at $25 a plate I think it’s not bad. Definitely needed a protein maybe some grilled chicken for the fatty protein to match some the salty pasta. Would not come back again for that dish specifically but would be willing to give the restaurant a second chance."

"Once again an excellent meal. You could tell our waitress was new, but she was still very pleasant and resourceful. We had questions about how we split the check. She can tell we weren’t 100% satisfied with the answer. The owner came to make sure everything was ok and what can he do to help. He was fun, pleasant and very friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere with beautiful water views. Get there just before sundown and enjoy."

"First time here as IL Gabbiano, but I love this location since it was Rusty Scupper about 20 years ago. This place is beautiful, with great views of the Long Island sound. And the food to die for, chicken parm well prepared not dry well seasoned delicious. The cocktail is on the small size compared to the plates, and I'm not kidding. You'll know what I'm talking about when you go. Prepare yourself to carry out half of your dinner, no complaints here it was as good as the night before. 100% recommended"

"Beautiful dinning room with spectacular views of the sound. Our waiter was wonderful. The food is delicious and the portions are enormous! I wasn’t that hungry and ordered the cheese plate for my dinner. It could easily feed 4 people. The tuna special was a large as a tomahawk steak and was cooked to perfection."
