"We had a wonderful early dinner and drinks! My husband had the house burger, I had the prime rib. Both were cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious. We were very pleased with the service we received. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Every aspect of our experience was five star. We will definitely be returning!"

"My wife and I had a small lunch. We started with appetizers of calamari which had two different sauces, and was very tender and also had a dozen oysters Rockefeller, which were excellent. We then both had a Caesar salad and a chop salad, which both satisfied our appetite along with soda and a beer. The meal was very expensive but good."

"We went here for dinner Friday night. We had reservations and they got us seated right away. They restaurant and the grounds are beautifully scenic. Our food was great. I had Chicken Cordon Bleu and the wife had Baked Stuffed Shrimp- both of which were the best we each had of these particular meals in a very long time, if not all time. They have bottled Yuengling beer, my new favorite beer. The stairs to go downstairs are steep, but there is a stair lift for those who find the stairs too challenging. Our server Jill and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job! It’s also a fantastic wedding venue…"

"After attending a show at Tanglewoods, we were very hungry and we enjoyed dinner at the Mill on the River in South Windsor Ct. We ordered off their Sunday special menu and had three very satisfying meals. The signature cocktails list had a wide selection and the one that we ordered was exceptional (pink slipper ???). We started with the shrimp cocktail that was served on a bed of ice with all the dipping condiments. We all had a salad with two BLT Wedges and one Caesar salad and they were excellent. Two of us had the prime rib (one center cut and one end cut) and these were fine. I had the end cut and I was hoping for more herb seasoning that would have made it more flavorful. The chicken teriyaki was very good as were the rice, steamed vegetables and baked potatoes that came with the entrees. The dessert, apple strudel was also excellent as well. Overall good dining experience."

"I have been here couple times. everything amazing. Great views and atmosphere all year round. Amazing service always fast and on point. Food always cooked correctly, perfect place for a date night or any special occasion. Definitely recommend and worth visiting"
