"I love this place ! It’s Clean, safe and has the friendliest staff. I bring my pet daily for daycare and I board my Mako when I need to and never have a worry, the pet hotel sends picture updates to my email so I can see all the fun he’s having and see the new friends he makes. mako is full of energy and always comes home happy and tired from daycare. The hospital attached makes my day worry free when I’m away from my pup knowing, if needed he can get medical attention"

"They have watched my dogs several times and while I was on vacation they took such great care of my dogs. Alyssa was AMAZING with them. I got photo updates daily (several times a day) , they did all the accommodations I asked for. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff to watch over my fur babies. I would recommend them anytime. Great care. They really treat your pets like they are family."

"We were interested in boarding services and booked a half day trial to make sure our dog would be a good fit prior to having her stay for a week for our vacation. Our dog definately has some stranger anxiety and has never been boarded before, although she has had pet sitters in the past and stayed with family. She takes a bit to warm up but has never been agressive with people or animals. We discussed all this with the person who did our intake. They were very curteous and pleasant. On trial day we dropped her off at 8am and explained to the front staff the above, that it would take her a bit to warm up. The front desk personal was not particularly pleasant, nor did she seem to even like dogs very much. They had advised us not to bring any food or water unless that was meal time for her. When I came to pick her up I was told she had failed her trial and wasnt a a good fit for boarding as my dog had tried to snap at them so they left her in the crate for 4 hours. I had so many questions. Why was she immediately thrown in a crate for 4 hours? I assumed there would be a bit of an adjustment period. They explained that was there basis for boarding and if they couldnt get her in and out of the crate that was their basis for qualification for boarding. If they couldnt get her out they should have just called me to come get her. Instead she stayed in her scary cell with no food no water in a strange atmosphere with no chance for acclimation. I would in no way want to ever put anyone or any pet in any danger, but we were never even given a chance. I will say that she just had an amazing trial day at another facility that gave her the opportunity to adjust to staff and she passed with flying colors. It was a totally different vibe and I am so happy the Pet Hotel was not a good fit for us."

"We have had wonderful experiences with the veterinary staff at the animal clinic of milford. Our rescue pup had a rocky start with us his first year and needed a few urgent visits and we were almost always fit in and every time treated with compassion, kindness and efficiency. The front desk and vet techs are also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had our first negative experience last week when we brought our guy into get groomed at the pet hotel since our groomer left the area. Despite pictures, two face to face meetings with my husband and I and what we thought were clear guidance on our double coated Aussie we ended up with a shaved dog (or what looked like it, although we were told just the shortest possible comb was used but admittedly I am not an expert and couldn’t tell the difference). I was visibly upset due to concern it wouldn’t grow back properly etc etc all the things we worry about with shaving coats like his. Unfortunately, the groomer had already left for the day (and never followed up with me despite being told she would about exactly what happened and reportedly told staff it was due to him being matted?, this was absolutely false) but the rest of the staff were very encouraging including the owner / lead vet who took the time to speak with me and provide reassurance. Though we 100% won’t use the pet hotel/ grooming services again, the situation was handled the best it possibly could of been given the outcome and it won’t deter me from using their vet services. I do hope it was just a major miscommunication (perhaps was mixed up with another dogs instructions?) and it won’t happen to any future clients. We are very appreciate of all of the hard work and effort the clinic puts into caring for animals day in and day out- we know it is no easy feat."
