"Cute little family owned Mexican restaurant where you order at the counter and sit down. Authentic really tasty home style food. Got the beef flautas and shrimp taco and both were really good. Tres leches cake was also great. The woman at the counter was super sweet. The only thing that would make it better would be if they had alcohol, but I know it can be expensive getting a liquor license. Perhaps they’ll allow byob in the future?"
"HELP!!! SOMEONE MAKE SENSE OF THIS PLEASE!!!! I WAS JUST CHARGED $18.25 FOR A BEAN AND CHEESE BURRITO!!!! That’s right. Your eyes are not deceiving you— I was just charged $18.25 for beans, cheese, and a flour tortilla. And I need the world to know it. I ordered for pick up, which I like to do to save restaurants on service fees from delivery apps. I wasn’t told the price over the phone. I get there and the woman at the counter was rude and didn’t even know if I paid for my food or not. I was honest with her and told her I didn’t. It wasn’t until my Apple wallet alerted me did I realize how absolutely absurd this truly is. I was charged for a “create your own burrito” even though I ordered the most basic item on any Mexican food restaurant? Can someone explain this to me? And how does that logically make sense? So, every burrito is $18.25, regardless of the cost of ingredients? Think of all the restaurants you could eat at for $15-$18 a person. It’s not like I asked for some special order— remember, I ordered a bean and cheese burrito. I strongly urge people NOT to go here. This was my first experience here and now, not only will I not come back, I will actively tell people this story. Oh, and yes, I was asked if I wanted to add a tip. [NOTE: Please check out the photos. And for reference, I’m a 5”2 115lb girl, so my hands are small. I was also still hungry.]"
"Wonderful little restaurant steps away from Main Street. Excellent menu selection and super friendly staff! Order first then take a seat. We enjoyed a black bean tostada, chorizo empanda and fried plantains to satisfy our sweet tooth."
