"SO sad to learn this will be the last Xmas eve we can order trays! Wonderful service and excellent food! Authentic home-cooked Italian food. Enjoy retirement!!!"
"Absolutely delicious food. Shrimp fra diavolo was unbelievable, bread was definitely fresh baked... I knew this place was good when I saw the little old Italian lady all alone in there at 830 on a Wednesday. This is real deal Italian food !"
"We had a private event here, buffet style we had many options to choose from and all the food was very good. We had a chicken, fish and pasta option also stuffed breads, roasted potatoes and salad for $21 a person"
"Most importantly, the food was fresh and tasty! We went for an early dinner and were the only customers there so we were apprehensive. Turns out that meant we got all the attention from the little old lady in the kitchen! She served us like we were family! Loved it. Good food. Clean. Food was hot. Service great."
"I actually found Pompeo’s on Google Maps minutes before driving into their parking lot. My wife and I noticed there was only one other car in the lot at around 6pm on a Saturday! She thought that was a bad sign and wanted to leave. My brother and sister-in-law were in the car next to us and also hesitated. I encouraged all to give the place a chance, plus it was raining and I didn’t want to drive around looking for another Italian restaurant. We stepped inside and didn’t see a soul in sight. We called out a lone woman who I believe was the owner came out and seated us. She was the only person we saw in the restaurant the entire time we were there. She was wonderful and attended to our needs and we all enjoyed talking with her every time she came out with a drink or dish. We couldn’t figure out why the place was empty on a Saturday night as the food was excellent! If you’ve read my previous restaurant reviews, you know my German wife is extremely picky about restaurant food because she’s a great cook in her own right. Well, she loved her penne ala vodka and took half home and ate it for lunch the next day and she NEVER does that! I loved the flavor of my Margherita pizza with ham, however, I was disappointed that it didn’t come with fresh cut tomatoes and basil. The calamari appetizer was delicious, but a little on the salty side. My brother loved his Veal w/pasta and my sister-in-law loved her stuffed cod w/broccoli. The prices for the dishes were very reasonable in the mid teens and plentiful. I would love to keep Pompeo’s to myself and not share them to the public because it was nice to not having to wait in line or spend an arm and a leg for their delicious food. Go check them out and you’ll thank me later. Oh, and did I mention the warm fresh Italian bread and fresh house salad?"
