"Came here for my birthday dinner! The atmosphere was nice, a bit loud. My salmon and rice was good, the rice was incredible. The honey mustard that came on the salmon was good but sparse. My family got the chicken, bolognese and other pasta. It all was good but pricey for what we got. I also got the virgin frozen strawberry drink, it was okay. I would still come back. The previous time I came it was very good."

"I have not been here for a VERY long time. I went often with a dear friend when it was Pettibone’s and even prior, but the damage and closure and the untimely passing of that friend put it far in my rearview mirror. But I had an appointment nearby and since that went well I decided to really treat myself. The staff, from the Maitre d’ on were friendly, unobtrusive but always there. My memory of the interior does not match the now but it was quite pleasant, quiet and tasteful. And the food! The bread! I don’t know what these little pillows are (focaccia?) but warm and chewy, nestled on top of and ever-so-slightly basted with a wonderfully fragrant and tasty olive oil and dusted with a finely grated cheese! I followed this with the French onion soup… a classic in a crock. The cheeses were melted on a thick bread, the broth flavorful (though I added pepper) and rich with soft, sweet onions. My main…costly but worth it. Roasted split Brussels sprouts got even tastier when I let them cool. The mashed potatoes were creamy, if not anything exceptional but the filet!!?? The best in memory. I got it medium and it was melt-in-my mouth tender with an amazing crust, FULL of flavor and just the epitome of what one hopes one’s steak will be! I polished this off with a vanilla bean créme brûlée topped with a delightfully thin crust and tiny blueberries. This meal was a triumph! (I only wonder why a place so well appointed and with such a talented kitchen has pepper shakers on each table… I suspect there is a peppermill if needed… just wondering) I did not see the dessert menu online so am adding the one from today’s lunch (8/29/23)"

"A nice place to dine. We really like going here, great for a quick bite upstairs in the bar or a nice sit down. The has always been good and they have a nice menu. Tonight I had the prefix dinner…Cesar salad and twin filets with cheese cake for dessert. Wife had a burger."

"5.17.23 Every time we drive by, we see the parking lot packed, so we decided to try this restaurant. The last time I was here was over 15 years ago. Staff was very polite, and service was quick and efficient. We were greeted, seated, and had our drinks very quickly. The apps and entrees came out fast, hot, and the presentation was good. The flavors of the dishes were superb. We asked for one dish to be spicier upon ordering, and it came out exactly how we requested it. The rolls were soft, and everything was just delightful. This is a wonderful place for a good meal, work meeting, date night, to celebrate an event, just about anything. We were also told this place may be haunted. Cool! On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, they offer half-price bottles of wine and prefix meal options. So again, it's a great reason to go back."
