"We have been there several times for lunch. The food is absolutely delicious. The beef brisket is out of this world. They have new cheeseburger delicious. The staff are very respectful and helpful, they make you feel very welcome. Great atmosphere. Oh yeah the Mac and cheese is crazy good."

"Loved lunch today at Mission BBQ with some of my dear friends. Beautiful Gold Star Mother Mary K., enjoyed a spare rib lunch with green beans and cold slaw. Vietnam Veteran, Brett M. had a pulled chicken sandwich and his wife Ellen enjoyed a deliciously fresh salad with chicken. Thanks to teammate Cindy, in the dinning room, for all the special attention along with sweet hospitality from teammates James & Jake. Mission BBQ is always so generous. They even finished off our delicious meal with a homemade sweet, blueberry cobbler, which was on the house. If you like blueberries, this is a must try! The staff is super friendly, making the atmosphere feel local and welcoming. My go-to dish is the Yardbird - half of a smoked chicken that is tender and absolutely delicious. The fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned, while the mac and cheese is baked to perfection. I appreciate that Mission BBQ supports our troops, and the patriotism in the atmosphere is uplifting. Everything on the menu is great, and I highly recommend trying some of their Black Plate Specials. Overall, Mission BBQ in Southington is a fantastic spot for barbecue lovers. "It’s our first time here and we’re extremely satisfied with our experience. The food is very good and even the sides and desserts are delicious. They were almost closed when we arrive and even with a party of 8, the service is very good. All the servers are super friendly and told us to take our time to enjoy our food. The desserts were on the house since it’s our first time here and they were unexpectedly tasty. The food had to be ordered at the counter and unfortunately we didn’t leave a tip as we were rushing to leave so that we didn’t trouble them further as they’re closing. All of us feel really bad for not leaving a tip and would definitely come back again for the food and service. Not to mention that the price is reasonable. This is the best service we received throughout our trip!"
