"This beats all the other Fried Chicken Chains in Connecticut. Visiting New Haven was hungry for good Fried Chicken . Crown Fried Chicken tasted way better then KFC or Popeyes. The Chicken is very tasty and Juicy. Not much seating great for takeout. Parking on side of building ."
"I live just down the street and have been to Crown a handful of times. In my experience, it's been very hit-or-miss. usually miss. One time I went, the chicken was hot, moist, and tasty. The next time it was dry, crusty, and anemic. And, if you're thinking about the fried okra - don't. Don't even consider it. It appears to be cheap frozen okra cooked in a microwave: soggy and bland. All in all, you're better going elsewhere unless really in a pinch"
"They use to hace good chicken and okra. It was disgust soak in grease and no crunch for either item. I do not recommend this restaurant for my worst enemy you will get sick ."
"Overall experience was pretty bad. It took me more than 10 minutes to get a double cheeseburger, even though I was the only one in the store. The burger tasted slightly better than a school lunch. Also, they only accept cash."
