"The whole place is fun. Drink menu fun- food fun! But really unorganized. You order off the QR code and it has no sense of time. We got apps with food some food came after others had finished. It was for our sons 21 bday so it would’ve been nice to eat together. Food is very indulgent maybe a little too much personally. Servers were very helpful and understood when I asked about all the food in stages. Some items we paid for we didn’t get or were ordered and they were out of. Still charged. You have to watch your order really closely. It just could’ve been a better oiled machine. Fun place for a group tho….."

"Trendy, eclectic and quirky. An excellent brunch spot to stop by and try out while you’re in New Haven. The drinks are all unique and delicious at a fair price. The food options are also excellent with a wide variety of options and unexpectedly large helpings. Unfortunately the service is lacking rather significantly; however, if that doesn’t bother you than this place is perfect. The Bloody Marias are pretty great."

"Servers were excellent! Kind, attentive, and overall great at their jobs. They informed us that there have been several new hires since opening & that’s why it’s better. Food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. Atmosphere was 10/10. My friends and I were there right before Christmas and we had the best time. We will definitely be returning!"

"After being seated, it took about 20 to 25 minutes for our order to be taken. Once we finally flagged down a waitress, she had difficulty taking orders on her handheld device. The food took an exaggerated amount of time to be served. No one checked on us and asked if anything was needed after food was served. A few times we had to flag someone down to get condiments. No napkins were provided. We had the Spicy Steak melt, it was tasty and the kick was definitely there. I also had the California Quesadilla, it was good and my daughter had the Bacon Cheddar Burger and fries. The food overall was good, however the customer service was not the greatest."

"We visited Place2Be with high hopes, especially after hearing about their phenomenal and creative food. True to the word, the dishes on their menu were fashionable, creative, and nothing short of spectacular. The decoration was a blend of cool and modern, setting the right ambiance for a delightful evening. However, the service was a gigantic letdown. Although the staff was friendly when they approached, their presence was rare. They forgot our cocktails and gave us attitude when we requested the missing cocktail to be removed from the bill. To add to the disappointment, they ran out of one of our orders, only informing us when the other main dish arrived. Sadly, the service tarnished what could have been an exciting and fun dining experience."
