"This place is definitely a hidden gem it’s right next to way back burgers . When we walked in it was empty .The atmosphere was very relaxing . Our sever was new and very respectful . She gave us some foods on what to try . Me and my friend were seated very quickly . We got the menu plus the lunch menu. It was a little over whelming for someone just trying Indian food . We didn’t know where to start . While looking at the menu there aren’t any drink options . There was multiple types of naan bread at least 5 . We tried the butter chicken which was amazing . The sauce itself is so flavorful. I will say to me it taste different when you put the bread with the sauce it taste one way and the sauce with rice . Both ways are good . We both gave it a 8.5 out of 10 . We also had the somoa appetizer which was good taste like potato and a mix of something else not sure exactly what . 8 out of 10 as well . However I think that’s for getting 2 for 6 I wish they at least gave 3 . When you add the sauce it’s an 8.5 . We also tried the lolipops which is chicken that looks like a lollipop . This was amazingg we both gave it a 9/10 and when you add green sauce it made it a 9.5 /10 . Overall we would come back again . Also if have a nut allergy please make sure you read the menu because a lot of things have nuts in it ."
"Food is ok as they add more color to all the dishes. Even after hand wash also the color didn't leave the hands. Ordered Vandaloo Chicken & Vandaloo Shrimp. Compare to Shrimp curry, Chicken curry was good. The rice provided with curry is not that good. Naan were good. Kids also enjoyed. They have restrooms accessible one at a time but separate for men & women. Those were well maintained. Table service was good. Food costs little pricy. Felt like taste of the food was not that worth for the money they charge. High chairs are available for kids."
"Muyuri Indian Bistro is one of the best Indian restaurants in the state presently. Found this little gem by pure chance. Attended an event in Waterbury and one of my family members ordered take out from here. It looked great so made a mental note to come back. First time here was blown away. Here's why: Decor It is decorated in a tasteful elegant way while still maintaining a casual theme. This immediately puts you at ease and in the right frame to enjoy the experience. Service The people here are super nice. It is a small place so when you come in you may not be greeting as the staff might be in the back fetching meals. In cases like that, we usually just come in and sit down and wave to them when they come back. Prices and Quality This is fairly priced, perhaps slightly higher than others but well deserved as the quality is much better than most others. Food The food is very good. We typically order several dishes as we come in a group. Most of the dishes come out excellent and from time to time one dish may fall short but overall it has always been an outstanding experience. Lamb Saag One of the best in Connecticut. Only one Indian restaurant has matched or exceeded this offering and that restaurant is long gone. This is the best Saag in the state. Veggie Samosa Tasty, nice flaky crust. Naan Oh my ...perfectly crispy and soft and chewy at the same time. Excellent! We get the rosemary, regular, peshwari Goat Biryani Delicious - 'nuff said Salmon Tandoor Absolutely amazing! this is a dry dish (no sauce) so we typically get it as a complement to a sauce dish. Love this place...We drive over 40 minutes to go here any chance we have."
"This place looks so elegant and inviting.. Almost a bit romantic! This was my first time trying Indian food and let me tell you they didn't disappoint at all... Yes it's different but that's the point. Everything had such good flavors! Now if you don't like spicy they have this yogurt mix that calms the spiciness, but taste so good on the food... I'd definitely go again."
