About the Business
Pho Vietnam is a family-owned restaurant located at 7 Eagle Road in Danbury, Connecticut, just a short drive from the New York State line. We pride ourselves on using fresh produce, high-quality meats, and seafood in our authentic Vietnamese dishes. Our goal is to share the deliciousness of Vietnamese cuisine with as many people as possible. Instead of just talking about how great our food and service is, we invite you to come experience it for yourself.
Our specialty is pho, a traditional Vietnamese soup made with broth, noodles, meat, and fresh herbs. The rich and flavorful broth is simmered for hours with beef and chicken bones and spices until it reaches perfection. We also offer a variety of plates for vegetarians and vegans, and we are happy to accommodate allergies and special diets as much as possible.
Please note that we do not accept reservations and operate on a first-come-first-served basis. We also do not offer in-house delivery, but you can find us on third-party delivery services like UberEats. Our kitchen closes 30 minutes before our listed closing time, so plan your visit accordingly. "I’ve been to this location about 4 times now and the quality gets worst every time. Recently I took my family from out of town and our experience was a disaster. It was moderately busy, the place was about half full and it took 1.5 hours to receive our food. I understand maybe they were busy with online orders or something else, so we patiently waited. But when we did receive our food the pho bowl was only half way full with half the usually noodles and other ingredients. We mentioned something to our waiter who said the kitchen had a lot going on and she agreed something was wrong. She went to speak with the manager and 15 min later came back and said next time we come in they will give us more broth. My entire family was shocked! It’s not the broth, it’s the fact that half the food is missing. Waiting is one thing but the complete lack of quality and disregard for customer service is another thing. Save your time and money, go to the other one off padanaram."
"Love the soups (Pho) the bowls are a good size so you'll be satisfied. The rest of the menu are kind of small portions. The place is clean but if you go on a Sunday be ready to wait because it's really crowded."
"I always love Pho Vietnam!! I'm so happy they have another location closer to me! Such great service and food! We love to get pho for at home movie nights and as a brand designer, the new locations branding is so cute and on point! The employees are also so super nice! I thought I got 2 drinks and she let me know that unfortunately I only had one on the order after I payed and she made me another anyway! So grateful, that was super nice! Best pho in the area!"
