"The roadside hot dog stand is not a thing of the past. It exists right here in Monroe Connecticut. Drive out of your way, get a hot dog. It's a destination. You can also get anything else on the menu, but for my money this is where you go for hot dogs. In particular, chili dogs: super spicy, super delicious. I'm also a fan of their BLT on a Portuguese roll. This is not an overstuffed BLT, just the right combination of each ingredient presented perfectly."

"A cozy little place with great food for great prices. My current go-to is the Bacon Egg & Cheeseburger, which is exactly what it sounds like. The staff is great and gets orders processed and paid for within moments. A great place for quick grill and diner food."

"Classic simple burgers and dogs place. The food is simply delicious and they are not chasing any food trends that come and go. The chili is probably their standout food. The menu is not expansive like other “canteens” to the in the Bridgeport area but they stick what they are good at. The staff is relaxed and feels like a giant family that they invite you into while you are there."
