"Grandpas menu is very large. This was my third visit. I cannot brag about my meal like I did the first two times. Breakfast is great at Grandpas. Lunch my whole group loved their lunch but me. Stay away from the chili dogs. They tasted as if they marinated in the chili for days if not weeks. The hotdog was like mush not a hotdog. Got the potato salad as well. It needed something; Maybe a tad bit of mustard, salt and pepper. It tasted very bland. Everything else I have eaten there has been wonderful. Club sandwich looked good, pulled pork sandwich looked awesome. Omelets are great."
"The folks that took over the old JK‘s diner, did a really wonderful job. The weight staff is very professional. The food was well prepared, and the time for service was reasonable. The food was delivered in an appetizing manner, and it was plentiful. If you stepped away from JK‘s try coming back to Grandpas. You’ll be pleased."
"Ordered a hot chocolate with whip cream and was charged an extra 1.25 for the whip cream. The food was ok. Once we ate we waited a good 25 minutes to get the attention of the waiter to get the check because he was talking in the back. I like that it's never really busy but definitely not going back for awhile."
"I’ve been there a few times. Food is inconsistent and not always fresh. Last time I ordered tuna on untoasted rye. Arrived on toasted rye with no lettuce and tomato. The tuna was dark and fishy tasting. I’ve had tuna there before and it was it was very good. Won’t get it again."
"Yes, they dont have jks hot dogs. But the food is good. Had pancakes, and they made them just right. The wife had some eggs and toast, and everything was very good. They kept alot of the old pictures from jks but they have added their own touch in side and its nice. The menu looks great. I look forward to trying lunch in dinner at grandpas diner."
