"Literally shocked by the negative reviews. This couldn’t be more authentic. The portion size is huge. Truly amazing to find a place in the fair mall offering such great food. The oxtail is falling off the bone, so tender."
"Wanted the ox tails but they weren’t ready, had the jerk chicken and Mac and was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked it. Price for a small was $15~ and was plenty for me. The service was great and I will definitely be back."
"The food is ok, nothing to write home about.. I just wish they had smaller portions, like a side order of just curry or stew chicken or rice. I don't want to pay that much to just throw away 1/2 my plate that's mostly rice! Oh and it's insane to pay $4 for 1 beef Patty! I supported that place a few times when they first opened, but it's not worth it for me. Almost $20 every time! For 1 order! And why sooo much rice with little sauce? Because I wasted so much money there for ok food, I was re motivated to cook my own curry and everything else."
"Stumbled upon this place while visiting. I noticed the spot AFTER eating at the china wok. So we ordered food to take home... Excellent customer service, but the food was ok. The jerk chicken had NO chicken on the bones. She cut up pieces, but now I see it was just bones. So I had rice, cabbage, and bone pieces. I received more meat from China wok couple doors down. I wish her the best...meat is needed on the plate."
"It’s a mall food court but the food is top notch. It really is homemade food and I can’t believe it’s available in Danbury, CT. They even have codfish and ackee and roti. Very authentic Jamaican food including goat. Very tasty food. Expensive but worth it. Gotta pay for quality."
