"Was not impressed by the cut or the owners attitude toward customers. Owner needs to take the poor reviews that have been left for him and use them to make his business better, but he responds like hes in elementary school. No way to run a business and will certainly not have mine."
"They cancel every reservation I make through their app. Message says to call them but they don’t answer their phones. Can’t ever figure out if this is a real place"
"From the moment you walk in the door you will be amazed with the professionally done remodeling of the barbershop. Good atmosphere, music and Barber Albi is very easy going and great to carry a conversation with. You can see his attention to detail with every cut that he does. Check out his business Instagram at @albisbarbershop_"
"Absolutely unbelievable experience. I booked an appointment online at 9:30 last night for 11:00AM this morning. At 9:30AM, I realized I couldn't make it, and called to cancel. I was told that 'put's him in a predicament'. After some silence, and simply my re-iteration that I couldn't make it, he informed me that he would have to charge me a cancellation fee. I asked how much that was, and he said 'It's in the email, goodbye." and hung up on me. I checked the email, and it's the full amount of the haircut if not cancelled within 24 hours. (The appointment was made less than 24 hours prior.) Okay. I don't think that's fair, but whatever. I just won't plan to do business with him ever again. $32 lost. Maybe I deny the charges. After 11:00. I get a text that I'm marked as a no-show. I respond to the text with: "I called to cancel and the cancellation was denied." John responded: "You cheated me out of my time, I only sell time." I answered: "I gave you your time back." A few minutes later I get this: "For whatever reason, it won't let me charge you. So sleep well knowing you screwed a small business over." So I texted back: "Fantastic!!! Happy I don't have to do any follow-up to deny charges. Negative reviews are likely coming though. Have a great day!!" This guy decides then to call me, demand that I come down to his shop and give him money, all while calling me names. He was yelling at me, telling me to 'F**k off, you liberal piece of s**t.' etc. Don't do business with this guy. He obviously doesn't belong in the service industry. Edit: Follow up regarding the 'hacking' accusation. Obviously, I didn't hack his system, but I'm under no obligation to go out of my way to give him money he isn't entitled to in the first place. I reserved his time, then gave it back with due notice. He just feels entitled to get paid for no work. My assessment stands. This guy does not belong in a service business. He doesn't care about people, only himself."
"I've been going to Lumani's since moving to the area a little over a year ago after a referral from a co-worker. Great guy, fantastic barber and would highly recommend to anyone. He's is the only one I trust to cut my hair now"
