Reviews
"Beautiful film center and wonderful staff. Love that they are here for the community! Do note they have no parking. There is usually a lot of parking in the area, but for very popular movies it may be tough to find a spot. Also, for popular movies, the queue is outside. So for inclement weather etc be prepared."
"Jacob Burns Film Center is the place to go if you want to see a movie, especially one that is not run of the mill. I went to see the 1984 Talking Heads Concert movie. What a show. I loved the small theater; the seats were extremely comfortable. I think it was the first time I've been in a movie theater where my feet didn't stick to the floor from all the spilled soda. :) Nice. Fantastic show and reasonably priced tickets."
"Just had my first movie experience at Jacob Burns Film Center and man, it was incredible! The staff was absolutely fantastic, super friendly and really knew their stuff. The other patrons were also rock stars, keeping things nice and quiet during the movie so I could get fully immersed in the story. Seriously, hats off folks! This place clearly knows how to do movie night right. Can't wait for round two at Jacob Burns!"
"Cineaste's heaven! The exhibition programing here is as good as any theater I have ever attended in my very long life working in the film industry. Not only that, they do outreach, education, and support for film makers of every stripe. I real treasure!"
