"Last night several more apartments were flooded with propylene glycol by a malfunctioning fire suppression system. A failing fire suppression system is flooding apartments at an alarming rate in this complex. 8 apartments in the past few months. This week 3 apartments (247, 248 & 249) were flooded with when a sprinkler head went off for no reason. Two months ago, the same thing happened to us when a sprinkler went off for no reason in the unit above us, flooding 2 apartments (44 & 45). A few days earlier, a sprinkler went off in unit 69, before that it was units 77 & 78. If you are lucky your flood will occur early in the week and you will be able to return to your apartment by the weekend. But the last flood was pretty bad, they are ripping out kitchens and sheetrock in those units. It will probably weeks for those folks to return home (and two of those families just moved in). We are expected to continue paying rent while we are unable to live in our flooded apartments. Fairfield Properties is silent on why this is happening. Everyone gives a different answer when you ask. Usually they blame it on the tenants. And do not expect any humanity from management when this happens to you, no apology, no concern for the elderly residents, just silence. Stay away from this complex it is not a safe place to live"

"I lived at Fairfield for 8 years. In the past year the security is non existent. Cars are beginning broken into, gates smashed , my car has been keyed 3 times this month and have gas siphoned from some tanks. There are times when walker come and I have found drug users asleep by dumpsters and the dog walk . The CVS opened 24 hour parking lot next door is a a hangout for drug users and homeless and opened to our community . There is a need for Fairfield to install cameras , increase security and take this seriously . I’m more than willing to pay the rent increases but use the funds to protect us !!!"
"It’s interesting how management responds immediately to online reviews, but when you have an actual problem they do not respond to phone calls and emails. This community is beautiful, but only on the surface. Buyer beware."
"Recently moved to Fairfield knolls north community and was shocked to find that all the grass is infested with fleas. My small yorkie had never had one flea and now I am fighting them off him every time I take him out. BEWare dog owners this community is not for you."
