"Living at the IVE Wilton Center has been a very positive experience. Working with Glenda from the IVE's leasing office has been great! Glenda is always helpful and responsive to all concerns and questions. Iād suggest having a white noise machine to help drown out any noise from neighbors. This building is located in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. There are many stores and restaurants within walking distance. Living at the IVE Wilton Center has been great for me (and my dog)!"
"Overwhelmingly negative experience living here, but here is my attempt at a balanced review: The Negative: - The walls are so thin that it makes you reimagine the concept of neighbors. Your neighbors are your roommates. You will hear normal level conversations with full clarity. You will know what movies your neighbors are watching and who they speak to on the phone. I'm not joking. - The in unit washer dryer is a 2 in 1 unit which can barely take more than two days worth of clothes at time. Still your clothes will come out damp and the cycle can take hours. Many tenets just go to a laundromat. - The billing office once took two months rent in one month. Although they did eventually relent and agree to give me my money back, it took several phone calls and the money was simply applied to next months rent rather than being refunded. If you're in a position where you cant afford to lose that sort of money for a month, make sure autopay is not enabled. The Positive: -The location is very beautiful, safe and convenient. Great for bike rides -Unlike other reviewers, I actually had positive experiences dealing with maintenance."
"I'd like to caution anyone looking for an apartment not to rent with IVE at any of their properties. I lived in their building for two years and they have behaved like criminals in every interaction I've had with them. They are completely unresponsive to maintenance issues. At one point the electronic keypad lock they installed on my door stopped working without warning. They told me they couldn't get someone to open the door for over 2 days and suggested I pay for a locksmith out of pocket. They will try to raise your rent enormously and will not respond when you try to contact them. After moving out I received less than half of my security deposit back. I've been trying for 10 days now to get an adequate answer from IVE as to why they're holding onto several hundred dollars of my money, but they refuse to give one. The building is falling apart. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors' conversations. The doors slam and shake the entire building. In the last month that I lived there, there were new residents causing nightly disturbances that resulted in multiple other residents calling the police on them. Save yourself the trouble and the money and avoid IVE Apartments at all costs."
"My previous review for this building was deleted when they changed their name so I thought I'd re-post my experience in this building from a couple years ago. I lived here from 2016-2017 1) There was a bed bug infestation. I was told one of the neighbors brought home a couch they found outside and the bugs spread throughout the building. I spoke with other tenants who dealt with this too. Before moving here inquire about this issue. If possible, make sure your lease terms have subjectivities regarding lease termination in the event that management has not fully and properly eradicated the bugs. DO NOT MOVE INFESTED FURNITURE/LINENS TO YOUR NEXT APARTMENT! 2) A year after moving out I got a notice from a collections agency that I owed ~$130 in cleaning fees. Note: They already deducted cleaning fees from my security deposit when I moved out. They never sent me an invoice. They never called me. They never emailed me. They simply forwarded a billing error to a collections agency without notifying me and my credit score plummeted overnight while I had to go through the steps of filing a dispute."
