"Dr. Benjamin really loves Animals, such a kind soul."
"I love dr. Ben. He always takes care of all my dog’s needs and issues and is so kind"
"Dr. Benjamin is a gem. Kindly old school vet with lots of empathy towards our pets. Great for annual check ups and rabies vaccinations. For complex procedures, he can refer you to others as required"
"My dogs have been seeing dr. Benjamin since 2000. He is the kindest person you will ever meet he genuinely cares and wants to help your pets. This man knows everyone in my family wants to know how they are he kept in contact when my mother was loosing g her battle with cancer. Sure over the years his services have depleted this happens with age and running a solo practice. I will miss him when he retires."
"Brought my sick 9yr old samoyed dog here this past Tuesday because he was having trouble walking and had stopped eating, called and talked to the dr on Monday & told him what was wrong & tried to get an appointment, he had me come down on Tuesday and we brought my dog in on a wheelbarrow and he sent us home with no treatment plan other than to continue the antibiotics and keep feeding him the peanut butter and honey i already was doing before we came there and he gave us a 1cc syringe to give a 80lb dog water with.. I took my dog to a real vet on Wednesday, a VCA animal hospital in east Hartford, they did everything they could for the big guy , including xrays, fluids because he was dehydrated, icu care, blood work, and euthanasia when the dr found he had a tumor on his pancreas and had gone into diabetic acidosis and was dying, upon autopsy the vet found his tumor had spread and went necrotic. The visit ran just over 500$ ... this vet did nothing for my angel and didnt refer me to someone that could when he realized he was in over his head and didnt have the facilities he needed to provide emergency care, please if you have a sick pet DO NOT BRING THEM TO THIS PRACTICE! all i would recommend this guy for is a rabies vaccination, or if you already know that you have to euthanize your animal. He isn't even equipped to provide flea treatment please don't waste your time if you have a real problem with your pet. He should of recommended that we bring our dog to a dr equipped to handle the situation when i called to get him help instead of having me wait and bring my pet to him. I even asked this guy to give him iv fluids and pain medication but he refused and said my angel didn't need it. Wish i never wasted my time or the lousy 80$ , my dog was worth much more than that and deserved better and I'm glad the other vet did everything they could to see if he had a chance and to give him a chance to live and when they realized how bad off he was they were there to help me let him go properly. I love you Mellow, I'll never forget you. Rest in peace, 3/1/07, 10/5/16... i have a feeling those other reviews are fake/paid for... just sayin..."
