"I tour the apartments and for the price I just don’t think it has enough amenities to justify the price. No pool and no security not gated parking lot. Also the gym is very small. Not sure if they had to cut cost and just decided to not add a pool or steam room or something along that nature for plus 2k a month cost"
"The place has been great so far! Beautiful interior and outdoor areas. Nice gym and rooftop."
"I am a new resident of The Beam. I gave them 5 stars due to the stellar customer service I received during the application process and the onboarding. It was simple and very easy. I work in NW Waterford and honestly, I was concerned that the drive would be a bear but it has turned out to be quite easy, only 10 minutes, since there are quick ways to get to I-95. Love the apartment since it's brand new of course, but also because it's large, spacious, and there's a ton of storage unlike older apartments where they barely give you any room to put anything away. Love the central island. It's cool to let people in since they give you an app to open the door, and they have another app to let you know about deliveries which are held in a private storage room. There is a HUGE exercise/work out room which is really cool. They have free weights all the way up to 150 lbs and barbells as well as treadmills and stair steppers. I have been impressed so far."
"Everything was going well until the application process. Because of extenuating circumstances that are out of my control, the application process did not go well. I was told to gather more documents, to get a co-signer, to do things. I canceled my afternoon to jump on it, canceling work, consults, and more. I lost out on income as a result. Within 5 minutes of the phone call and texting clients, I was rejected. The company still wants to keep the $75 application fee, despite the fact that they told me to get a co-signer and snag more documentation. And if I want to grab the co-signer, and snag the documentation and re-apply a certainly can, for an additional $75. Really? Meanwhile, now that it was clear to them that I couldn't sign one of their apartments, they have been difficult to get a hold of and more. The sales folks were constantly available before this, and now I am bottom of the barrel."
