"It's strange to me that this place is getting rated well on google when you can walk in the building and notice the issues. Starting with the halls, they look like they have not been vacuumed or mopped in months. The halls have a strong odder that can at times be a bit repulsive. More importantly a good friend of mine has an apartment here, and while her actual apartment is pretty nice, she has had a leak in her second bedroom for months now and she has requested countless times that it gets resolved because its developed a mold issue. This is concerning because this person has a very serious medical issue and her doctors are concerned that the mold is affecting her health and has suggested she stay elsewhere until the issue is resolved. I guess I'm writing this because as a friend and visitor I'm very concerned with the lack of attention this issue has gotten especially since she has been requesting it to be fixed for months now. I'm hoping this review will help shed light on this issue so it can then be resolved. Other wise I'll have to call the city code enforcement seeing as this is clearly a violation and in the event that something happens to her I will have no other choice but to seek legal attention for this mater."

"I live in the mason square apartments through your management and let me tell you, the last 5 months have been hell. Between the fire alarm going off all the time, to roaches in my CLEAN apartment, electrical issues that I reported a week ago that still haven't been fixed... But the most recent of issues started Monday morning at 5am. The fire alarm went off and scared myself and my fiance awake (and our 2 young sons) my fiance ran up the stairs to check and make sure there wasn't a fire.. well because he was scared out of a dead sleep, he ended up cutting himself on the door latch to our bedroom and needed stitches, which resulted in me needing to miss the day from work to watch our sons. Tuesday night at 10pm, alarm goes off again, 12am Wednesday another alarm, and then of course 6am Wednesday alarm sounded AGAIN. All during our sleeping hours with the longest alarm sounding for 47 minutes and the shortest 25 minutes. Let's also add in, I wake up every morning between 630-7 to go to work, yeah a loud false fire alarm is not what I prefer to be woken up by during my last hour of sleep or my beginning hours of sleep. The alarms NEED to be fixed. This is not a safe nor is it a comfortable living situation. Eventually there is going to be a real fire and nobody will even think to leave the building because of how many false alarms we go through in that building. To have to pay as much as I do for rent, I'd sure like to enjoy what I pay for and not be woken up at such inconvenient hours. I still have another 7 months to put up with this torture!"
