"The staff and the management team are amazing ! The building itself is top tier , very clean . The location is a walkable distance to downtown and great food spots around the area, the amenities are a next level luxury. The staffing and management team are super friendly and very present through out the year . The management team Andrew , and the new leasing agent Ashleigh has been going above and beyond , very attentive and efficient . This building is huge , very spacious and can be a lot to handle (despite all the negative reviews). Andrew has a lot on his plate having to deal with different tenants / personalities on a daily basis , but I believe he’s doing a great job to make sure everything is well kept and maintained to the highest standards . Overall, the amenities alone exceeds my expectations. This place is absolutely stunning & I highly recommend this place !! Check it out !!"
"I’ve lived here for 10 months. During that time there have been constant issues; loud parties in pool area late into the night, paper thin walls and ceilings, water leaks, 15 fire alarms, a garage door that doesn’t work, broken amenities, a dog park built for 5 dogs that services over 100, and a very poor and unprofessional management company. Our upstairs neighbors got a new puppy and it’s like living under a UFC octagon! This so called puppy must weigh 100 pounds even though the lease only allows for 50! Management response is that they do not weigh the dogs. I bought a decibel meter to record the noise in hopes they would do something about it. The noise consistently emits through the ceiling between 60 and 80 decibels (as loud as welding equipment or a busy highway) and the very rude property manager, Andrew, and the corporate office suggest we move all of our belongings to a new apartment at a higher price for the last month and a half of our lease! It is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived. Other than that the building was constructed poorly but the ascetics look very nice. We did enjoy the pool when it wasn’t so crowded we could actually get a seat. I’m sure this won’t be everyone’s experience but if yours is anything like mine you’re basically up the creek without a paddle!"
"Andrew is impossible to deal with - and there is always something wrong - either the garage or elevator are broken or the golf simulator and grills. It is certainly not worth the money. I had even had a gas leak that was handled improperly and had to call the gas company myself to deal with the problem. It smells weird in some places in the hallways and elevators as if they are never cleaned properly. The dog park isn't cleaned ever, and they allow dogs way larger than the lease allows which makes for bad encounters with smaller dogs. Overall I would say it was one of the worst places I have ever lived."
"Only lived here for a short time but was a great experience. All staff is super friendly and helpful. Really nice gym!! Fun amenities and a beautiful pool. Location great for any highway you’d want in Hartford!! Easily walk to restaurants and downtown."
"We’ve lived at the pennant for about 6 months. The property looks beautiful however there are too many issues. The fire alarms broken and goes off all of the time (over 10 times in the past 6 months). It seems like most of the tenants ignore the alarm now so hopefully there’s never a real fire. The garage doors almost never work. This property is not located in the best neighborhood and with so many nice cars in the garage it would be nice to see the garage doors working instead of being left open all of the time. Over the past 6 months both doors have probably worked less than 4 weeks in total. Usually only one will be broken but that means anyone can walk right in. $100 a month for this amenity is a joke! Just buy a new garage door opener that’s reliable. It can’t be that difficult!! The nighttime staff does a horrible job at policing the noise policy around the pool. Typically you can’t even listen to music at a reasonable level during the day without getting in trouble by the property manager. During the evening hours people pack into the pool playing games in large groups, yelling, and blasting music with no regard or concern from property staff. One of the two elevators next to the parking garage is broken at least half the time. With one elevator for the entire building to access the parking garage, wait times become extremely long. The finishes are nice from a far. Cabinets are broken, tile work in the bathroom is very sloppy, and the grout comes up every time you shower (probably wasn’t sealed properly). The dog park is disgusting. The park is far too small to handle the number of dogs using it as their restroom. The turf smells like a sewer. I couldn’t imagine living near it on the first floor as it reeks as soon as you get off the elevator. The property could be great if it was just managed a bit better. It seems like this is Andrew’s first time managing a property and it really calls for someone with a bit more experience as there are so many residents. It’s very common to hear our neighbors complaining about the same issues. I will not be renewing my lease and would advise you to consider somewhere else. Most people I speak with are not planning to renew their lease either. At $2,200 a month for a one bedroom with two parking spaces, I think you could do a lot better."
