"Beautiful apartments and Kate made moving in so easy for us!"
"Kate is great! Place is beautiful!"
"Overall the experience has been OK. The apartments themselves are beautiful, they did a really nice job with picking appliances and paying attention to the smaller details. However, the complex/company itself is where my review really comes into play. We were overpromised a lot of things when we took our initial tour, most of the things which were mentioned were not actually done. One thing we were told was that we had the option of putting in barn doors to the extra "bedroom" which isn't actually a bedroom, it's a den (It does not have a closet)., so the people that were promised barn doors and have moved in are now stuck with just one open room with no doors. There were also some other things where we moved in and were surprised. For instance, we had no idea first floor apartments were receiving patio furniture. Although that's not a huge deal, we probably would have went with a first floor unit as it would have been nice to have patio furniture included with choosing one of those units over a second or a top floor (one less thing to worry about). We were also surprised to find out once we were well settled that we were having shower doors installed after we had gone out and bought a shower rod and curtain. We actually preferred having the shower curtain instead of the shower door, as the shower door only opens from one side and doesn't look as good as we had thought it would. It's just kind of a pain since you have to get inside of the shower to turn it on. We were also surprised to find out that we were receiving curtains in the bedroom and in the living room and that they were mandatory. We actually really like how they look, but we wish we were made aware before we had gone out and purchased our own since we were unable to return the ones we had bought. But the ones they provided look really nice. The patio took way way longer than expected, so by the time the patio was finished, we were not able to enjoy it because it was too cold by that time. The patio tile they used is very nice, but they were cut unevenly and it looks like they did a quick job on it. We moved in early September but it was completed well after that, close to Halloween. We were also told that the lobby would be finished by mid November -- but it seems like we have barely seen people there working besides in the morning & it seems like not much is being done during that time. I hope we can utilize this soon! I understand all new places are going to have some minor problems to work out, I just wish we had the full experience of living comfortably without having to jump through hoops and truly getting our money worth from renting these high end apartments. It seems like the property manager/property management company and the leasing agents they hired are on different pages a lot, so it can also be difficult to get a straight answer sometimes. I don't know if they have team meetings so that they're all in the loop, but it might be beneficial and based off what I've heard from other tenants, might cut down the amount of complaints they receive so that they can continue to improve. There is a lot of potential to make everyone's living/working experience here phenomenal! On a side note, all of our neighbors have been so great & we enjoy talking to all of them! We do also appreciate that this is a pet friendly community, it's been so nice seeing all of the other dogs & ours having some little friends to play with :) I hope the pet spa is completed soon too!"
