"Lived here 5 years. Haven't had any issues that were not taken care of."
"Response to requests has been better in this past year compared to two years ago. The rent increase does not reflect the quality of flats however (poorly done repairs and renovations - eg, for the second time, some of the floor tiles in my flat have become dislodged, likely due to the uneven layer of cement underneath). Similarly, the washers and dryers are not regularly maintained (some dryers are long due a proper cleaning and therefore no longer work properly)."
"CSRE brought our property two weeks ago. We have no hot water, they haven’t cut our grass since they took over. There is no emergency maintenance , is this by far the worst management company we have experience in 20yrs. The positive reviews on here are a lie. Please do not rent from them you will regret it."
"I had a tour with Livia and she was so knowledgeable, I put in a backup application on a one bedroom since they are fully booked. Had a great experience!"
"I requested early termination of my lease because this residence is terrible. The actual apartment itself was okay, some of the repairs were definitely questionable though. The Entire apartment was painted a depressing gray, and the vinyl stick on wood looking tiles were not properly installed. I did have a new air conditioner but it only cooled the living room, it was hot everywhere else. Laundry on every floor which was nice, but inconsiderate people leave their laundry in the machines for hours so I frequently went to the laundry mat anyways. Reasons why it was horrible: Where do I even start? Other residents were constantly making me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. People are making inappropriate sexual comments to me in front of my child. My son couldn’t even play outside without broken beer bottles being in the grass or some other resident(s) smoking illegal substances around us, even though I ask them to take it elsewhere. I have witnessed drug deals outside, people smoking illegal substances in the stairwell, as well as people performing sexual favors in the stairwell while we are on our way out passing by. Keep in mind my child was four, only four years old being subjected to that in our own apartment building, us having to leave and me having to cover his eyes. Disgusting. I have had bad interactions with a few residents due to their behavior in front of my child. The noise from the work being done disrupted my sons online learning. Not to mention I worked third shift, and I was only getting an hour or two of sleep per night during the week because the noise of construction within the building constantly woke me up during the day. Not to mention, they ripped off the roof right before a major storm and the building was shut down. We had to vacate for 2 weeks. That situation left us stranded unless we wanted to stay at a West Hartford Inn, a place where you yourself wouldn’t have stayed. Bloodstains on the sheets, I immediately left and stayed in a safe/clean hotel with my son. After we were able to return to the apartment, the hallways had wires hanging from the ceiling and nails on the ground. Definitely not safe for children. The halls smelled of mold until the carpets were finally changed, during that time I was also not notified and I was grounded to my apartment due to the glue on the hallway floor preventing me from leaving or coming in. Then out of nowhere, came the asbestos that I was also not notified of, closing down the halls. Christmas and birthdays, we couldn’t even have family over because they’re disabled and the elevator was out of service for so long. The building has secured access which is one of the reasons I chose it, well the side door is constantly being propped open and that defeats the purpose of a secured door. Assigned parking spot is ridiculous because you leave and someone has already taken your spot. It’s a constant battle for parking. The trash area always looks in disarray with trash and broken glass all over the driveway. I was always uncomfortable being in this building and this environment. I had to get us out of there as soon as I could. On the plus side I did get back my full deposit. 1/10 would not recommend"
