"I have been living here for 22 years. Bella Vista has both advantages and disadvantages. The one bedroom apartment are nice and spacious. But in my building the A building we have been dealing with several issues of not having any hot water. The management puts temporarily bandaids on the issues but doesn't get the issue permanently fixed. It takes forever for the water to get hot and it doesn't stay hot permanently the water turns ice bucket cold. This is very unhealthy and unsanitary. Tenants pay rent here and hot water is included in our lease. Not having proper hot water system is breaking the violation. Another issue is the parking. There is no parking spaces by the building. People have to park way down the street to park , I had PCA care and had PCA'S quit on me because of the parking problem issues here. They should have better parking options. Alot of elderly, disabled people reside here. No one should have to park way down the street by the traffic lights and walk up a long hill to the building. They have tenant parking spaces for those who have a car, but for those disable individuals who don't have a car and have PCA 's who do and need to help the individual they can't park in the tenants space.They are taking care if the tenant and should be allowed a parking space and not have to walk up a hill or long distance."

"Many residents complain about the office staff discriminating against them, only hiring hispanics with European features & people of Northern Italian descent. Staff not fixing anything unless HUD inspections are due, old broken elevators that shake & rumble that are never replaced as they should be, but always shut down for false repairs that are never done. Over charging them for rent & odd things, they dont understand their lease, the office staff is rude & disrespectful toward mentally ill people and elderly residents. The office staff make up violations to get residents warnings of evictions or actual evictions. Past residents who who in progress of suing the bella vista complex found themselves evicted or dead by "accidents" or false suicides after the deceased would tell friends tbat they were threatened by b.v. to let it go. More like a haunted project building complex without close surrounding trees because they were cut down, no flowers or adequate tire / car safe parking grounds for visitors. The main visitor's parking lot in the back of the stucture is too small for the amount of cars that cram into the lot, the dirt field parking lot is a rock fill ridden with giant pot holes + rocks. Tow trucks constantly riding around the buildings. There are about 6-8 high rise project buildings crammed around each other. When you go inside it sounds like a smoke alarm is constantly going on as a "testing" routine. One or both elevators are always broken and there is constant flooding. Infestation of bugs & rodents. While making my medical visits to my patients, I was afraid the buildings would collaps and good reason to, there were always construction teams attempting to repair the roof, but the buildings always crumble apart."

"It's not a terrible place to live. Typical apartment living. Nice to have doctor's office, pharmacy, convenience store, luncheonette, and salon all on the premises. Community activities are getting better as well. Movies once a month, lots of bingo, pot luck suppers, holiday get together. In warm weather, bocce and shuffleboard, and community cookouts as well. The rents are income adjusted so reasonable for this area. Even a public transportation stop right here."
