"There needs to be a no star option, this is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Christine does nothing about complaints about loud neighbors, I found black mold in my apartment a month ago and I called her she never got back to me. When she finally got back to me it took her a week to find a solution which was short lived because the mold came back. I hate it here and can’t wait for my lease to be over."
"This place was the wrost place i have ever live in my life. The management was always changing there would be times when they wouldn't have someone in the office for 3 months at a time. It took them 9 months to fix a big hole in my bathroom wall. I had to call the city of Bloomfield to get justice. My bathroom tile lifted. My tub would overflow if the people above me took baths. When I called mantence about my bathroom they ignored me. They painted my tub 3 times because of rust and each time it went back to its original color. My kitchen appliances where changed multiple times. My refrigerator never worked. My stove only has 2 working burners. My walls where dirty because they were painted WITH out primer. The bedroom closets where broken the draws in the kitchen where broken. No dishwasher. They use old white appliances. And for 1200 or more for rent I think stainless steel is a must. They are so cheap. The maintenance workers and the lady in the office are so unprofessional they will scream and curse at you. The grounds are kept so dirty. It takes weeks for the grass to get cut. They don't pick up trash on the property. The basements are dirty and moldy. The washer and dryer that are offerd to tenets to use never work and are dirty. NOT TO MENTION. They had a string of cars getting there tires stolen and also someone broke into a women's apartment and they never did anything about it. Mantence is so sketchy eveone knew that they had something to do with it. All the Mantence workers behave like thugs. They pile garbage at the sides of the shed and I have pictures and video to prove it. The hallways of the apartment is cleaned my a man who uses the same dirty water to clean the steps and after he is done it smells so bad. They have no cameras on site. They don't care when your apartments are being vandalized of broken into. The maintenance guy allows his friends to sleep in the basements. I had no heat in the dead of winter I called the police. Also no hot water for almost 9 days I had to call the police to get an answer as to why I have no hot water. My breaking point was when i asked them to turn back in my heat and was told by one of the mantence thugs that I cannot control my heat so he went in the basement and turned the hear up to what felt like 100 degree and we had to sleep with our windows open. I would advise a dog on the street to rent from manor house. The owner is from new Jersey and I have never seen this man while living there. Who do you complain to about the office personal not doing there job. I was glad the day I left there. To much stress."
"Not a bad place to live for your first time place! Its close to West Hartford Blue back center (18 mins) and bishops corner (15 mins), stop & shop near by, Natures grocer just opened up down the road, laundry mats, and close access to high ways. Its very quiet, every now and then there are cars that are loud but never past 9PM. Plenty of closet space One assigned spot and plenty of guest parking. Best part: wood floors Lacking adequate counter space, old cabinets. Major issues get taken care of very quickly by maintenance. But they are both really good men. Main office is not that helpful. Don't expect screens or doors or closets to get fixed the apartment comes as is."
"Great neighborhood, great neighbors well some are lol. Poor management the property has been going downhill. The parking lots are filthy, the guys who cut the grass etc barely do. Due to not wanting to clean up the grass after cutting it. The use to cut the grass and left it and the wind would blow it all over. Complains were made and now they barely do Jack. When they were asked why such a poor job been done on the lawn? Their response was that management is not paying to get it done right. Cars been vandalized at the Bloomfield property wheels stolen multiple times (I got pics as proof). Parking lots are pitch dark at night which makes it easier for thieves and harder for tenants to see anything. Several complaints was received by the management about the poor lighting in the parking area but nothing have been done up till this day. Tenants apartment broken into few months ago and a television got stolen and fingers were pointed at the maintenance stated he was the only one knew how the apartment was arranged and was working above at the time of the incident. I could go on but let's see if the new management team that was recently assigned will make any effort...."
"I agree with Mark Waller. My husband and I lived at Manor House for 3 years. Everything started off great but it soon deteriorated. The quality of the management was horrible for the last year (2016-2017). Upkeep of the property went down hill as well-I.e. numerous huge potholes that were not fixed after multiple requests. Also, there was no urgency by management to fix hazards/security issues. A couple positives...we had great neighbors in our building and Bloomfield was a great town to live in. The people, town events & restaurants are great!"
