"I wish I had the option to leave zero stars. had an appointment with Louis and ran 10 minutes late due to an emergency. Louis was so exceptionally hostile, rude and passive aggressive. It made me feel so anxious and uncomfortable I had to leave. I would never ever ever ever recommend this salon ever. Not worth ruining your day and mood over. There are so many amazing salons in the westchester area. Please save your energy, time, and money and GO SOMEWHERE else. Horrible experience and costumer service. Wish I never tried this salon out. Never again."

"Nice, modern place with many hairdressers who do a great job. Every person I saw had a hairstyle that looked like it belonged in a magazine. My 87 year old Mom comes here once a month to get her hair colored. Usually my brother takes her, but I was in town and took her this time. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They treated her like she was a family friend. They new her name when she walked in, and she was treated terrific, with respect and kindness. My mom struggles with her memory at times… they know this, and I really felt like I could trust them and felt great the way they treated her. It was evident they have empathy and wanted her to feel comfortable. I’m very glad she comes here. Oh… and her hair looks great!!!! :)."

Carolina has been my stylist for a few years now, and I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out the door. But beyond that, I have been touched by her humanity and that of the salon during the pandemic. Carolina takes care to put her clients in their comfort zone, whatever that means for them. "My son gave me a gift certificate for Salon la Bottega for my birthday. I made an appointment with the Rye Brook Salon. They were so courteous and pleasant. I had been toying with the idea of cutting my long hair for quite some time and am so glad I decided to go for it. Upon entering the salon, I was cheerfully greeted by Judy and both Lucille and Carolina helped me to decide what cut and style to get. Carolina cut my hair and the result was beautiful. I truly love the perky cut they gave me and I commend them on their superb service."
