Reviews
"The international flavor makes for a very engaging atmosphere. You never know who you might meet in the elevator but you can be assured that many of your rides will be entertaining and surprising. I think that the same holds true each time you pass through the elegant lobby and you are greeted with a warm welcome at the reception desk"
"This building warrants a much longer review about the lacking appliances, uneven flooring, and popcorn ceilings in each apartment, but the worst has been profoundly inconsiderate neighbors who blatantly disregard basic decency and will not attempt to maintain noise to a reasonable level at 2 AM on a weeknight. Many attempts by other neighbors on the floor to ask them to lower their volume resulted in an attempt to shut their door."
"(tl;dr) do not recommend. ------------------------------- 2 years living left with regrets not to have left earlier. The only thing I truly appreciated was their maintenance and cleaning crews. New Haven has more and more apartment complexes and I do not think 360 State is competitive at that price level. Facilities - It is overall okay and expected to get better with the renovation in mid 2023. Convenient access is good, so what? This is a huge complex compared to the size of amenities. They charge monthly fee for everything and yet you must compete against others. - There is a pool!!! where birds take showers and enjoy as well morning and night. Also, this is not a constantly filtered pool. Location - Close to Union station and parking lot attached. Yes, this is (+), but this is not the only apartment that offers this. - For me, the worst part was noise from inside and outside. First of all, the walls separating units are basically thin sheets (maybe not necessarily true). A neighbor to my bedroom was the type of person to start binge watching at 10PM-ish. My bad luck, but newer apartments have at least better soundproofing insulations. Also, this place is next to the NE corridor and the highway, meaning you can often get to hear train-generated honks and ambulence sirens in the night. Plus, I have no clue why there are so many crazy speedsters. Living - My unit comes with this water-saving toilet. I do not want to clean the toilet bowl every time I use it. - The dryer/washer is super tiny and took me way more than usual amount of time. Concierge - Many appreciate to have concierge. I do not. They take packages for you and you may pick it up whenever you want. However, I have had so many occasions of waiting indefinitely for a person to come back, missing one or two items, or slow processing of already delivered stuffs. - Concierge ppl were maybe nice, but dealing with them in high-stake situations can give you genuine headache. - Here is one. This apartment has a deck for moving, and you have to reserve a freight elevator for 2 hours of usage. Of course, no moving can be finished during that, and many residents there have abused the policy to book it back to back with 30 mins of gap. The funny thing is, this was what I was RECOMMENDED from a previous management company. Anyway, for the day of my moving out, I did the same thing I had done two years ago. After 13 days, on the day right before my moving, one of the reservations was canceled. No call, no explanation, nothing. I called the concierge, and this man kept saying 'this is against the policy' with such an arrogant, bossy attitude. I asked for the ground of policy because I was neither informed nor later notified of any documents stating this. Yet, the only answer was 'you can't do it' and 'policy'. I can understand this happening, but at least when one is canceled, should the apartment call me to ask which one should be nullified? Don't expect such professionalism. - One day, I witnessed a small argument between two of the residents and the concierge. There is a policy on using the clubroom in terms of the size of a gathering. If it goes beyond a certain number, you are requested to pay for use. So, these two residents decided to have a party. Then, it is natural to add these two residents' allocations. What happened? The concierge person raised one's voice, telling these people they couldn't do that. I truly loved their answer: from now on, we don't know each other, and we are not associated. I loved it as much as I do not respect the bossy concierge. - There are more stories regarding the concierge. In short, I would never be able to understand their reasoning and logic, most of the time. Management - It was okay and became close to bad with new management company. Never got answers back within reasonable amount of time. Staffs not endorsed to answer without their boss' authorization in several tricky issues. More importantly, all complaints and concerns regarding the concierge were NEVER reflected. Good luck with your search."
"My husband and I recently moved into the 360 State Street apartments and it has been an absolute delight! Safety is always a priority for us and this place ticks that box effortlessly. There's a constant sense of security which makes the living experience even more comfortable. The staff here are truly amazing! They're not only friendly and responsible, but also incredibly quick to respond to any queries or requests. It's wonderful to see such dedicated professionals who make resident satisfaction their priority. As for the amenities, they're a cut above the rest. We've lived in a luxury apartment in New York before, but the facilities here at 360 State Street are even better. The quality, maintenance, and usability of the amenities provided are commendable. Our life at 360 State Street has been joyful from the day we moved in. We can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a fulfilling and luxurious living experience!"
"I can’t say enough great things about 360 State. First off, the location is everything; easily accessible from 95 and 91. Situated between Downtown and Wooster Square, you’re walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops. The lobby is absolutely beautiful; cozy yet modern. I love the concierge staff! Warm friendly greetings, snacks for the pups, and very organized package handling system. The amenities on the 6th floor are like a four star hotel…huge gym, yoga area, library, meeting space, game room, movie room, and the best part… rooftop pool and garden! My apartment is perfect; open floor plan, neutral colors, A LOT of closet space, in-room W/D, and of course..the best views in the city. 360 State and Bozzuto exceed my expectations and created a wonderful downtown New Haven experience. High Rise living is the BEST!"
