"I have recently moved in this community. It is a beautiful, calm and quiet place to live with family. I am happy to have made it here. Also a special thanks to Seema at the leasing office for her kind and friendly gesture throughout the entire move-in process. Also thanks Bhavika, also from leasing office for your regular follow ups before our move-in ensuring a smooth transition. The maintenance team here at this property are prompt to address the requests. Thankyou all...."
"Management, specifically the property manager Seema, was very unpleasant and not helpful. I lived there for 4 years and saw a noticeable decline year after year. There was no follow through on their own policies outlined in their lease which made for an experience where residents felt like they were secondary, if that. Oh and they’ll also take your security deposit without conclusive evidence and refuse to discuss the matter. I tried discussing the issue with Seema who refused to help and referred me to someone at Garden Communities who apparently didn’t exist. I left numerous voicemails with multiple people at Garden Communities and not once did I receive a reply. $500 stolen. Living here is not worth the headaches."
"The actual apartment of Aspen Green: My 2nd floor apartment became infested with ants and bugs of multiple species that kept coming back despite multiple visits from maintenance who only sprayed the inside perimeter of my apartment. It was clear the ants were infested throughout the building and this was a frequent problem dealt with at Aspen Green. For a $3,000 apartment I should not have frequent ant infestations. There are no cameras at Aspen green, and car break ins and thefts were becoming popular when I moved out. Seema Fnu and other staff did nothing in response to car break ins and thefts other than sending generic emails to every resident about locking their cars. In a supposedly family safe community this seems very dangerous. Frequently children were yelled at by the property staff to stop playing outside and to stop skating on the pavement in the complex. This was also sent in multiple generic emails to all residents. This seemed extremely counterproductive to their supposed “family friendly” facade. The actual apartment was filthy. My vents were not cleaned prior to move in and my entire apartment on move out was covered in black dust. I became very sick from inhaling dirty air and mold from living in this apartment complex. There was dry rot in the apartment, water damage along windows and also dry rot and significant water damage in building 4’s mail room which made it clear the entire complex is not maintained despite only being built a few years ago. Again, this apartment is not a luxury apartment by any means. The actual walls were so thin I could hear my neighbors snore, sneeze, cough, and talk almost always. Despite boasting about a strict noise complaint policy, the property manager, Seema Fnu refused to follow her own noise complaint policy after I was unable to stay in my apartment due to extreme noise. My upstairs neighbors seemed to have parties until 2am consistently despite quiet hours. After I had called the police for the first complaint, I reached out to Seema for help and support; in addition to the other property staff and a corporate staff member named Jaime who was also extremely disrespectful, invalidating, and rude after expressing concerns for my safety and the safety of the other residents. The noise from my above neighbors became extremely aggressive, and after attempting to seek out support and help from Seema, Jaime, and the other property staff, I was told that they did not believe me and I was not suited to live in an apartment. As someone who has lived in multiple rental homes and apartments before with no issue, this was a very rude and unnecessary statement to make. Seema Fnu also said that if it was that big of an issue that I had, I should call the police again because it was my responsibility to handle the safety of the apartment and it was not theirs. As a single woman living alone who had just heard on the news of three women being murdered in their apartments, I felt like I could no longer live in Aspen Green. This was no longer a safe space, and it was quite clear the entire property staff did not care about any of their residents safety or well-being. I was extremely gaslit and invalidated in my distress, this coupled with the continued aggressive noise forced me to end my lease 6 months early due to my apartment no longer being livable. Instead of being respectful at the very least, I was treated with animosity and anger from a person that does not know me personally in the slightest and should have at least handled the issue professionally. Seema Fnu withheld my security deposit beyond the 30 days since the day I gave her back the keys which was illegal because I had broken my lease, which had annulled the original lease I had signed. After supposedly agreeing on a settlement for moving out early, she overcharged me on purpose hoping I would not check my bank account and after calling her multiple times and a brutal conversation where I was spoken over repeatedly, she reimbursed her over charge."
"Aspen Green is a wonderful place to live and the leasing/ maintenance staff is very pleasant to work with. When we moved out recently our security deposit was returned in full. We were looking for a bigger place and the 3 bedroom town home was not available at that time so we had to move and bought a house. We will definitely recommend Aspen Green."
"UPDATE: What was the point of leaving a forwarding address if they’re not going to forward mail? This place is awful. — We lived here for three years. At first we were so excited. We loved the space, and the leasing office seemed so great to work with. I’m so happy we moved. If you do decide to rent here and want/have a dog, take my advice: ask whether your building is dog-friendly. These people lied to us. We were told it was a dog-friendly complex only to learn later when we were about to adopt that our specific building was not allowed to have dogs. We were not given a reason, which is unsurprising because the office doesn’t communicate clearly with residents. The staff isn’t mean. They’re just kind of there and only want to talk when they want money or want to complain. Maintenance was a huge issue. We would request help with an issue and get no response for weeks. Sometimes we had to wait for them to come for their routine work and point out our issues we had called about while they were in our unit. The balconies were covered in spiders. Parking was awful most of the time. The walls were thin. The leasing office didn’t do anything to make the complex feel like a community. It just became a place to sleep. It wasn’t a home. Really disappointed after being so excited to live there. We are so much happier in our new place."
