Reviews
"The gym is dirty, broken and not organized. Cable and leg press are currently broken for the past 2 months. Management also never fixed the pelotons that were recently removed this summer. The Managment is more focused on their profits than their tenant satisfaction."
"Any positive reviews are really surprising. Been leaving here for about 6 year now and it keeps getting worse. You should be really disparate if you're planning to move in. Leasing office management and maintenance folks are a bunch of gas lighters. We've had a couple changes in owners, but @Konover is certainly the worst of them all. Moving out at the end of my lease and GOOD LUCK if you're moving in."
"Me and a bunch of friends play soccer everyday. They have no soccer field, so we played on parking lots. They said we couldn’t play in the parking lots because we would break a car, but they gave us our own parking lot where no cars could park. Then, Allen retired and new management came. They took away our field. We started playing in a muddy area next to the pool. However, CT gets a lot of rain. Whenever it’s raining, we go into the indoor basketball court and play there. Now, they’re kicking us out of the court because we’re, “too young to play in here.” I’m 12. Don’t think that’s too young to play in a basketball court."
"As a long-term resident, I can honestly say that Meridia Living has done a wonderful job managing the property. They have done most of the things they set out to do since they bought the Royce less than two years ago. It is more children-friendly now. They built a new playground for the kids and even have a designated place for the kids to play soccer. Kids are always outside playing. Allan, the property manager, is great at his job. He is approachable, friendly, and is open to suggestions. He is always walking around the property to make inspections and is very dependable. Allan is a man of his word, which is hard to find nowadays."
"Don’t waste your money. Any of the positive reviews left in the last few months crediting “Allan”, the newest in a revolving door, is no longer applicable. He lasted less than a year, which was of no surprise to any long term resident. They bill themselves as a high end/luxury apartment complex. These apartments have been sold from one company to the other for decades. They paint the walls gray, swap out flooring in less than 2 days, but leave the disgusting brown tiles and cheap cabinets in the bathrooms. Old cheap cabinets in the kitchens. Spend the extra $200/month and live elsewhere. Speaking of money, they are only required to give you two months notice for renewal. This year, I saw a $350 increase a month moving forward, my upstairs neighbor $600. So do not expect any consistency or reasonable price increase. Many tenants have moved out as a result- better apartments, more affordable apartments, or flat out home buying. As of today, 10/17/22, there are 25 units available for rental. That should speak for itself. So what are we left with? People who renewed but are already discussing moving out 2023. It also leaves the undesirables and affordable housing. They do what they want, try to break windows/cars, damage property. I called the cops twice this summer, but OF COURSE, the property takes no responsibility. This luxury gated community, isn’t gated. The doors have been open for months, and they are cheap and fired the part time security guards when 10 years ago they had 24/7 security. Don’t waste your time, money; or energy. The new management is rude, disrespectful, and lack compassion. Don’t move here. You will regret the next day. What other property management company has over 20 pages in their contract accepting no liability or responsibility. They even go ask for as saying they won’t replace lightbulbs, what a joke."
