"The wait time wasn't very long for walk-ins, they also have options to schedule appointments online. The haircuts given are very good, and incredibly cheap compared to other local places. Even the time it takes for the cut itself isn't too long."

"I went to get my hair washed and blown out today at the location. NORWICH. There were two employees with customers as I walked in the employee at the front desk sesame yes, I was surprised no hello no good morning just yes so I said yes I need my hair washed And she was like have you ever been here before so I gave her my phone number finally she found it. She says it’s gonna be 20 minutes I said OK I sat down and waited 20 minutes. Turn into 30 minutes. 30 minutes. Turn into 40 minutes. Meanwhile, it’s only me waiting . 40 minutes. Turn into 50 minutes an hour and 15 minutes when the employee that asked me what I needed done finished her customer instead of acknowledging me and saying to me sorry for the wait we’ll be right with you. She went straight to the back and sat in the back for another 30 minutes while the other employee finished her Customer , when the employee finished her customer she called me over and I was very disappointed. It’s not the first time coming to the salon. It’s the second time that I come to salon and I feel like they don’t like to deal with ethnic people so the employee wash my hair I told her I needed to blow dried not saying that they do a good job because they really don’t do a good job. I just want there cause I did I didn’t feel like washing my hair blowing out my hair, so so let me just go here is 35 bucks it’s fine , but every time I go I feel like the customer service in this place. There’s no customer service no people no personality the vibe is uninviting I don’t know maybe because I’m Hispanic but I feel like it’s like they can’t do our hair so maybe they should have a sign that says just white people or people with nice hair I’m very disturbed at this place in NORWICH because NORWICH especially there’s a lot of Hispanics so anyway so she does my hair she says to me oh you want to trim it I said OK she nips it for 2nips so when I go to pay she charged me $20 for full haircut and $35 for the wash and blowout. when she only nipped like two pieces of my hair I’m putting this review because I’m very upset that a company like this exist in an area where there’s a lot of Hispanics you need to hire more people or people that are willing to blowout ethnic hair. How hard is it to blow out somebody’s hair .The rude employee that I’m speaking about is the manager in this place come to find out I was speaking to one of the customers and she says oh she’s the manager. How can they hire manager that’s rude and welcoming Who hides in the back room while customers are waiting if could give this place a zero ."

"Spent literally 4 min on my hair. Ok I get it, I have a simple haircut, but come on. I had to take some time finishing up scraps I couldn’t see at the place. I never leave reviews either"

"Be careful at this salon! I had my two toddlers get cuts here and the staff was incredible, the haircuts were great, I felt so confident I came myself with the 9.99 coupon. I'm a stay at home mom haven't had more than a trim in a few years. I got a young lady with a dark pixie cut who sounded very confident. Showed her a photo, we discussed the minimum length, everything seemed cool. She cut my bangs 1" too short AND made them wider. Instead of face framing pieces she began my 'layers' too short and literally in the middle of my cut she said 'uhh, how do I connect these layers?' My hair I've let grow for 4 years has been destroyed. I had to trim off even more when I got home because it looked so insane. My husband couldn't believe an actual licensed person did this because it was horrible, uneven, my bangs are scalped. I'm not a vain person at all I cried for a while after leaving the salon. I asked not to lose any length and I lost 9"+ and I'm really unhappy. When I told her it was nothing that I wanted and I even put my hair into a clip because it was so awful she didn't even apologize she acted like it was my fault but she didn't come anywhere close to the photo example I showed her. I wouldn't pan the whole salon because some stylists are great. The surly girl with the short dark hair run for your life!!!!"

"I have found my new hair salon!!! I went to Great Clips to get a new look for the new year…what I got was a total makeover! I love my new haircut. Danielle is an awesome hairstylist. She listened to my concerns and to my hopes for a different way of styling my hair. I’m growing out my blonde hair to embrace my now graying hair. I didn’t like the look of having a 1/2 and 1/2 color so Danielle and I discussed going much shorter and stacking the back a bit, feathering the bangs and having an angled cut to the front to incorporate the gray I already have in the front. I love the look and HIGHLY recommend Danielle and Great Clips of Norwich!"
