"To the owner, sorry you misunderstood I was not trying to be rude about your studio.i meant to ask if you are renovating or something. The studio was great but it would be difficult for me to recognize as hair studio without someone telling me.I am not saying this in a negative way but trying to explain that my intentions were not rude.However,had I got what I wanted I would have rated you with 5 stars. I showed you the hairstyle I wanted and you convincingly assured that it can be done.We did not have any communication during the haircut and I could not track because there was no mirror in front of me The haircut was of normal quality but it was no where close to what I wanted.Please try to take the costumer's feedback positively!"

"Basil was so nice and polite. He did great on my hair ( balayage, haircut and blowout) I like the most on how he cut my hair. The only one, I know how to cut hair since I left Philippines. I really like the outcome of my hair and gets a lot of compliments. Definitely, I will be back and I will recommend him."

"This is not my first visit to Rocksteady, nor is it my first review of this business. Point is, I am extremely happy with my hair when Basil has finished his magic. I started Keratin Treatments a few yrs ago & am thrilled that I found Rocksteady & Basil to keep the service going. Today's service had the glitch of the power going out to the bldg in the middle of my treatment. Basil was great - he worked on timing to insure I got what I needed. So I ran out expecting to keep myself busy for at least an hour or more, but shortly after I left, Basil texted to let me know the power was back up. I raced back & everything turned out fine! I applaud Basil for his handling of the power outage (Eversource issue), continuing my service (if needed, he offered to meet me on Sunday to start from scratch!), & making my hair look as good as I expected it would! And the fact that he recently moved to Branford? Even closer for me! Thanks!!"
