"Tl;dr: Go here. Ask for Jennifer. She's AMAZING! We arrived in Springfield from out of state for a family celebration, and discovered that one disabled family member hadn't combed her long, beautiful hair in so long that it was just one solid mat hidden under a knit cap. Two of us tried to comb it out for her, but it really wasn't happening. We convinced her that short hair wouldn't be terrible, and went to a salon. That first salon was very nice, and we liked them. They confirmed the hair couldn't be salvaged, but they could do something - just not before the party. They referred us to someone else. The second salon also said we were going to have to cut the hair off very short, and while they could still make it look nice, again - not this afternoon. But the owner went to the trouble to call around for us, and she was wonderful as well. She finally sent us to Jennifer at Chabela's. And here, a miracle: The stylist assured us she could save my sister-in-law's once-gorgeous hair!! They were so very kind and understanding here, too. We left and came back, now after closing time although the shop is still bustling. I'm sitting beside my sister-in-law, who again has long, beautiful curls tumbling down to her mid-back, shiny and clean and perfect. She's just waiting for it to be finished - but the miracle is evident. This stylist is our family's angel today, and she's *fabulous.* If you're still reading this, please book an appointment and go support this incredible little salon. They're far more than just a beauty shop."
