Every appointment here was pleasant and the people there provided excellent service within reasonable timing (despite being low on staff members, I think). I do not regret my decision coming to this location and will stay as a loyal customer eventhough there is another salon closer to where I live :)"

"I have been going to Keri for a few years at cost cutters. I lucked out when I found her because she is remarkable ! She knows me, she knows my hair and what I like and she delivers every time. I don’t particularly care for the salon, the always changing their hours last minute , the poor timing between clients so there can be a wait. Keri makes this all worthwhile for me. Quite honestly I would follow her anywhere. It’s not the salon that keeps me coming back, it’s Keri!!!!"

"Cost Cutters: Lack of integrity and moral compass A senior member (Maria) whom I had an scheduled appointment with and had confirmed the appointment 3 times, passed me off to an inexperienced individual for a hair appointment. Any professional person in a service based industry knows word of mouth is important. I was never given the choice of rescheduling, never given a phone call to decide if having someone else work on me was acceptable, I was never informed Maria didn’t want to do the work that day or felt she didn’t have the time. The individual I had was nice, however unable to do the work I was scheduled to have, the work was not what I expected for what I paid (I was forced to return because my hair was obviously uneven). She attempted to correct the uneven cut, it remains uneven(two months later) as I have to grow it out. Based on my questions and observations, the stylists make their money on tips, not the service as they are hourly employees. As I stated, I confirmed my appointment 3 times over the phone and when I walked into the establishment I was asked if I had an appointment and with whom. After a brief conversation between the two stylists I was asked to follow someone else, not Maria. In my opinion, this reflects a lack of integrity and moral compass on the part of Maria. Had she extended the curtesy of calling g me and letting me know she could not or did not have time for the services I asked for, I could have made the decision to reschedule or go somewhere else, which I will have to do now. As a result of this experience, not to mention a disastrous hair cut and service I will not be returning and have passed this sentiment on to my friends, who have also stopped going to this establishment. A note to the owners; one bad review and negative experience will stand out over all the “positive” reviews when it comes to word of mouth. When a senior stylist conducts herself in this manner, it lacks professionalism and reflects poorly on your business."
