"I chose to give this place a try based on the reviews. Walked in with my 2 daughters to see if they have walk-in available for Pedicure. There were 2 workers and absolutely no customers. I asked if we can get Pedicures, and the lady says "no not right now". I looked around to see if they are busy, there's no one there. I look at her and say, "you guys are busy right now?" She said yes. So we walked out. I was about to drop almost $200 for our Pedicures, their loss i guess. She didn't even ask if we would like to come back later or make an appointment. DO NOT RECOMMEND."

"This is the nicest sweetest place I have ever had my nails done. The attention to detail and how hlgood these gals are is amazing ! Highly recommend! Great 1st time experience here ..I am from out of town and they accommodated me with an appointment same day !"

"I had the BEST experience of my manicure life here! The women at Marlenes were SO KIND! Went for a pedicure before an upcoming wedding. Not sure what color dress Im wearing, so i wanted a nice neutral color. The women tested 6 or 7 options for me to find the right tone to complement my skin. Then the mani... I have tiny nail beds and am a massage therapist... so my nails have to be kept short. I also have a tendency to bite my already tiny nails. But, i wanted them to look clean for the wedding. At other salons, I get the feeling that I'm being judged and laughed at. The women at Marlenes knew exactly how to treat my nails to clean up the cuticles and buff down the rough skin. I'm so happy that I found such a lovely salon! I'll definitely be keeping this as my go to spot in CT!"
