"I had a rather disappointing experience during my bridal consultation this afternoon. Initially, I was hesitant about the $50 consultation fee. However, after discussing it with the receptionist, I was assured that scheduling a consult would ensure I was matched with the right person to address all my questions before making a booking. My virtual consultation was slated for 4:30, but it didn't commence until 4:40, leaving me frustrated. I had to call and remind them of my appointment, only to be informed that the person I was scheduled to meet with had left for the day. This left me questioning why they would leave when we had a prearranged meeting. During the consultation, I found myself taking on the role of the host, having to initiate questions to keep the conversation flowing. The consultant didn't introduce herself, nor did she inquire about essential details regarding the wedding, such as the bridal party and schedule. As someone who was genuinely excited about hiring them and a significant social media follower, this experience left me disheartened. The meeting fell short of 30 minutes, and not all my questions were addressed. In my opinion, the $50 fee felt like a complete waste and, frankly, resembled a form of deception given the lackluster consultation experience."
