"The one star is because the young lady doing my hair was really very sweet. HOWEVER, she ruined hundreds of dollars in previous lifting sessions by coloring my roots so dark and then leaving a bold and untransitioned hard line between my roots and the rest of my balayage, making my hair look like color block. I don’t think she knew exactly what she was doing because of lack of experience, and she didn’t ask many questions. I was in a pinch to find someone quick, so the front desk recommended her. I needed a toner and to touch up my grays and after showing her a picture of how I wanted it toned, for some reason her solution was to highlight more, dye my roots black and tone for about 3 minutes. I ended up with a red streak in between my roots and my other highlights done previously. And I had a major event the next day. Her solution was to cover the reddish hardline with more permanent root color. I decided to go somewhere else because it was clear to me she was not experienced enough. I ended it paying her $150 and then getting someone else a few hours before my event to gloss over her mistakes. Very unfortunate, because I came here due to other glowing reviews; but it’s clear that not all stylists are equal."
